Hopkins - Boring fight, would people want to see it again? HBO had a clean win for joe, take away the flash KD and theres no doubt of a Joe win

Kessler - Would be the exact same fight

Dawson - How the HBO brought up a guy there channel has never botherd showing amazes me. Don't think Dawson wants the fight enough.

Froch - only a big fight in the UK and thats only because Froch is british.

Taylor - Would have to Knock Out Lacy in amazing style to be considered

Pavlik - will not go above 160lbs

    Exactly.

The best fighters out there at 168 - 175 apart from himself are Hopkins and Kessler. He has already beaten both.

Time to put the feet up.

If he is to fight on it has to be Dawson.

He holds the belts, can generate good money if promoted right (remember Kessler was unknown before the Calzaghe fight but it was a huge British success, not so sure about America). And he would be the icing on the cake of an illustrious career.

Well, hes been through the fighting nobodies/bums stage of his career, and is now onto fighting OAPs stage of his career. He'll probably fight Ali next and tell us how great he is that hes beaten another legend

In all seriousness, I'm certain he'll retire now.

He wont fight Hopkins again, as this is probably a 50/50 fight in Hopkins current form.

Kessler. I'd back Joe, but would be very tough.

Froch - not enough money in the fight, and although Joe should win, he wouldnt risk his "0" against a hard puncher like Froch who might get lucky.

Taylor/Pavlik/Dawson - I dont think Joe or the public would be that bothered about any of these matchups.

From listening to him after the fight, he is too precious about his "0" to fight anyone with a chance of beating him.

Its a bit like when I beat my brother at any sport/game I immeadiatly retire "champion" and refuse to ever play him at it again in case he beats me

Same with Joe - wont do rematches, and wont now fight anyone with a chance of beating him.

again...it's about the money, not the opponent so much...

and the money will lay at the doorstep of a hopkins rematch...
whatever people thought of the fight...it was a close split decision and he had joe down...and then went on to play with pavlik...so now a rematch becomes a credible fight...and more important for joe..it can be in cardiff and generate a big ball of money...

He would get big money for taking on Dawson.

Decent money for a Hopkins rematch but Joe is certain he doesn't want this fight and I don't blame him.

Kessler..pointless fight...not particularly good money because he isn't really a name in the US...

Froch fight is the one I want him to take (assuming Froch wins in Dec) it would be a major domestic fight, not that great in terms of money, but if Joe still loves the sport then this is the one he should take..

    otherwise, he should just retire

I think its the opposite on the money scales there, especially after B-Hops win over Pavlik. Plus if in Wales although it'd be a big crowd regardless B-Hop would put a few more bums on seats because he makes himself disliked, is a bigger name and theres the controversy of the first fight.

you might be right about the money. thing is though, how much would bernard want for coming to wales? and the first fight was, well, ****, and people will remeber that and maybe not splash that cash on PPVs, Dawson is hyped right now, unbeaten hungry young fighter, seems to be more marketable than another hug fest with bernard, one which Joe might not win

He should go fight Haye. This would give Enzo Cal a chance to defeat his nemesis and Joe to become a genuine ATG. He is a *** if he does not do this. Haye practically shat in his dads face and Adam Booth washed it down with ****. JC has got to revenge his dads pride.
