Sulaiman, no. I'm just saying that I don't think Golovkin will step aside without certain guarantees. They could accept Cotto or Canelo to vacate afterwords, that's definitely possible.

and on the buys...whaaaaaat. you do realize it's a rematch right? Cotto didn't make 2 mill the first time, and Canelo didn't win a single round...literally. Do you think it was that easily forgotten? 1.5 million, but not 2 for a rematch. no no no. The only fight that could hit 2 million is May/Pac 2 and that's even if they still lost more than 50% of the original buyers.

If Cotto lost 50% buyers, he'd get 750,000K.

If Canelo lost 50% buyers, he'd get just over 1 million.

Canelo said he'd never fight Mayweather at a catchweight again, but I guess for millions of dollars he might.

First off, it's CInco De Mayo so if Alvarez ends up beating COtto, his stock will continue to soar going into a May showdown with Mayweather. he's been on a very nice winning streak since losing to FLoyd, has picked up a good amount of ring experience and will probably force FLoyd to meet him at the full 154 in a rematch. FOr cinco de mayo, I have no doubt that match will crack 2 million buys.

Personally I think cotto is fools gold, but he's revitalized his career under the tutelage of Roch and if he ends up beating Canelo, than a fight with him and Mayweather will be very appealing.

Both of these guys are really big names in the sport. The Alvarez fight would surely do a minimum of 2 million PPV buys.

And once again, no one can force anyone to fight. This isn't the 1940's; although boxing is corrupt it's not operated by the Mafia.

Canelo also said that May 2 was his date, yet he didn't wind up fighting on that date.

And please, stop pretending the WBC is going to enforce anything that would make a cash cow face GGG. They won't. Especially when it comes to the WBC President's God Son Canelo.

well dang. if i get screwed out of a GGG/Cotto or Canelo bout and get a boring Mayweather repeat of what I've already seen...then I'll be so mad. :-(

It won't do more than his first fight.

And no it won't. Canelo would lose every round again and Cotto would still lose a UD. You don't win fights against Mayweather, let alone rematches. It'd be worse than the first fight.

I'd rather see Pacquiao fight Mayweather and lose to him 10 more times then watch another Mayweather/Canelo schooling.

I'd rather see Mayweather retire than another Mayweather/Canelo schooling.

And Pacquiao would get thoroughly outclassed again, too. Yet you want to see that one, right?

    Pacquiao, Cotto or Canelo.

As for the belt, wouldnt matter. Cotto or Canelo would drop the belt just to fight Mayweather. and Mayweather can still be Lineal crown because WBC anit the lineal title

You and I know what this thread is really about. You don't care about Cotto, Alvarez or Gennady. You're obsessed with the Pacman. You're trying to make everyone else believe your train of thought, and trying to make everyone think that Gennady can put a gun to Cotto/Canelo's head to force them to fight him. You want Floyd to be clear of any other challengers except for Manny, and if he doesn't fight manny than you'd rather see him retire!

And that's OK, just be more open about it rather than beating around the bush.

Yah because I want to attend the fight. Idc if pacquiao loses again. i just want to go to the fight. Plus, it makes the most financial sense. And come on, pacquiao can't do worse than he did before. FOUR HUNDRED PUNCHES. he can only go up from here lmao he'll still lose tho. like i said, no one wins fights against Floyd let alone rematches.
