This sounds weird but I give Katsidis a good chance simply because his will and punching power will always give him a good chance, against anyone. We've all seen some flaws from him but if shows he's sharpened them against Casamayor then I favour him over anyone at 135.

Maybe Gamboa in 2-3 years. No one on that list can beat him. Juan just has that style that is a nightmare to anyone. If you are a boxer you better have stamina to move around the whole fight without ever stopping and a very stiff jab to keep him off you. Otherwise Juan will stick himself to your chest like he does to all of his opponents and tee off on you. If you are a brawler then you better have insane 1 punch Knock out power which you would have to land on a very solid chin and Juans underrated defense.
In other words no one around Juans weight class beats him. From 130-140.
I wish he was a little taller so he could eventually move up to WW where he can be challenged to the fullest.

I don't know why people arent' giving Nate Campbell a chance.. What Diaz has is high punch output. However the way to beat a volume puncher is movement, jab and most importantly coming in between those punches.

If a fighter has good defense he can easily tag Diaz in between his shots. What we've yet to see is how Diaz reacts when he has to change from his over aggressive style.

I think Campbell has a chance to unseat him if he can sustain the high output of Juan and keep him off bay before he tries his attack..

    At lightweight --- no one.
But if he goes up a weight clas or two --- it will happen.
    Everyone has their limits.

What confuses me most about this poll is 12 people chose Khan...of the fighters above, Khan matches up with him arguably the WORST (I would actually put Katsidis the worst matchup because of the cuts factor, but...).

Im sorry, but there is NO WAY Khan beats Diaz.

So a fighter with PHENOMINAL output, speed, movement and accuracy...GREAT timing and defense (especially when you consider how much he throws)...and underrated power...would lose to a fighter who hasnt fought anyone yet, has great speed and technique, but lacks in defense and chin???

That = a 4 round KO to you? FOR KHAN????

Your new to the sport of boxing huh?

I mean....what tells ya this? His destuction of the immortal Graham Earl? Or was it his destruction of the future HOFer Colin Bain???

    :nut

Or was it maybe when he got dropped and almost put away vs Willie Limond?

Be serious dude. I think Khan is a very good prospect...and is becoming a very good fighter....but there is NO WAY, NO HOW he beats Juan Diaz. He would get starched or the fight would get stopped...hes not even in the same league.

Only problem with that is...Guzman has minimal power at his weight now...how will he keep Diaz off him with no power to speak of?

That was the maybe. Perhaps if he fought on his bike, he could sneak it

I think he's the only guy that could move up and get close with his skillset. Realistically, Diaz won't lose until he steps up
