Eddie Chambers is legit, so is Povetkin, and Adamek. Boystov is good but not ready for a title shot yet. Vitali looks vulnerable I think Chambers, Povetkin, and Adamek beats him. Wladimir on the other hand looks unbeatable, although I hope Chambers pull off the upset.
The Klitsckos have dominated the division ... As long as they are active nobody will beat them I fear... :-( Povetkin or Haye may have some luck
He should carry on fighting regularly, thats all you can ask; not his fault the division is garbage. You can build a legacy to some extent on title defenses I guess.
A huge legacy, look at Joe Louis, 10 plus years on top and fought a lot of guys considered bums. You are right stay busy and fight anyone we are mentioning in this thread and keep winning. I dont think we can ask for more!
Here's my suggestion/guess. Wlad is tied up with Chambers and that figures to be a good fight. Chambers is probably the best of a poor lot but he's still a solid contender in my eyes. Ruiz and Haye seem tired up to one another at the moment. I guess that's for the best as Haye has the skill to eliminate Ruiz for a few months and that means nothing will happen there. All of the eastern bloc heavies are good but up and coming guys who need more work. Boystov to be exact. Solis is going to be a big time player but the time isn't right. How about David Tua or Nicholai Valuev? Tua is a name, coming off a dominating KO over Shane Cameron and is towards the end of his career. He poses little threat to Vitali but we're all suckers for nostalgia and we'd eat it up. This fight COULD feasibly sell well in any part of the world. Valuev isn't the most exciting fighter alive but he IS a former champion and he does have some freak show appeal. Not only that but what better way to **** off Haye than to KO the guy he barely beat? Just suggestions.
Right now Vitali has limited options. Adamek, Solis, Holyfield, Toney and maybe Tua and that is about it. The guy is too good for anyone currently at heavyweight.
A fight with Valuev would be an interesting one. Vitali will fight a taller guy and now that he is getting a little slower, perhaps he might lose . Valuev always states in public that he wants Vitali... His rematch with Haye will take place at a year , so there is time to fight in March-April
I don't ****ing know! Maybe should just take a little time off and see what happens with Wlad and Haye's fights. :conf
Now that Valuev has no title I think he'd fight Vitali. The big guy was never scared and now his management have nothing to gain they should let him off the leash
It seems the only way to beat vitali is through him getting injured or cut. Guys with the fastest hands have the best chance in this regard.
Helenius, Boytsov, Adamek, are too green and/or don't deserve a fight yet. Dimitrenko just sucks Ustinov - Not deserving but i'd love to see it, although he's look unspectacular in some fights i watched during his K-1 kickboxing days and when he's in there against someone who will fight he's as game as they come. Vitali vs Ustinov would be VERY exciting. Virchis - Also not deserving. Retired for a year and has had 1 fight since coming back. BUT i'd love to see it. 6'5 250 lbs. This content is protected Him & Vitali fought as amateurs and Vitali described Virchis's punching power as "devistating". Would have had a shot vs Vitali had he beat Gomez last year. Pianeta Most don't know his name but he is actually one of the better options imo. Solis looks like he'll probably get a shot and not a bad option either Valuev will never ever happen. Wish it would though
