Can't help but wonder if it's a little too soon for Solis vs Vitali. I'd much prefer Solis vs Nagy Aguilera for the mandatory spot while Vitali handles big business against Tua or Valuev.

    agreed.

Contrary to what alot of people would have you believe his reflexes & ability to slip shots tonight was just as good as any of his other recent fights.

Too soon or no, they are lobbying to get Solis in the eliminator V Austin.

For my part, I wonder if its too LATE, since Solis seems to gain 5 pounds for every fight. He may very well be 280-285 by the time he gets to Klit, and I don't care how talented the man is, he will get harpooned just like Kirk Johnson.

I've been thinking about this and wonder if maybe one of Haye's mandatories won't take some step aside money?

Or Solis VS Austin who still hovers around the top but at least has the most valuable experience of the guys that are there.

How about he quits pussyfooting around and fights the real number one to decide the REAL HW champ????

Ruiz already took step aside for Haye.

Besides, I just don't have confidence that Haye wants to get in the ring with a Klit. I a hope I am wrong. I respect Haye's ability and accomplishements and think he would make a great opponent for Vitali.

i dont understand how anyone say boytsov, adamek and helenius dont deserve a title shot or too green. looked to me like kevin johnson was too green and sure didnt belong in the ring with vk (he got his shot tho). umm david haye? how did he deserve any title shot whatsoever. if helenius beats brewster he sure as heck could via for a title shot IMO. better then that johnson joke and imo would smoke arreola as well.

I think the differnence is that Boytsov, Adamek and Helenius all have futures whereas Kingpin has fringe contender/gatekeer written all over him in the first place. Let Johnson make his money, but groom the others slowly.

POST SCRIPT: Helenius is remarkably almost ready. I concur. Boytsov needs a few more tough figths and Adamek just needs to put on weight and get used to it.
