Khan yet to be outboxed... In boxing terms Khan hardly ever loses rounds unless you knock him down or Ref takes points off for pushing or he gets KO..

In pure boxing Khan has NEVER BEEN OUTBOXED

HE BEAT PUALIE ZAB KOTELNIK SHUT OUTS..

maidana might get lucky early and land one of those unorhtodox haymakers like mayorga did against forrest as floyd has shown to have success against technical fighters and maybe the reason why he hasnt fought paq.

khans current punch resistance is too fragile for floyd whereas maidana will be durable and competitive for all 12 rounds.

marcos could also throw 1000 punches like he did against broner so he may win rounds strictly on pure activity as floyd generally only throws 450-500.

he has horrible punch resistance and has been in too many wars.

the amir that fought zab would have the best chance but that khan no longer exists.

also, amir has yet to show that he even belongs at 147 and has only shown that he has no future at 140

    Lara would beat Mayweather.

Floyd would have to come forward with pressure like SRR against Hearns and thats not happening.

Maidana wont find Floyd to throw, Mayweather will hit and run on the outside as soon as he gets near mid range, he'll slip into the inside and clinch

Peterson won like 5 rounds on my card - regardless of point deduction, Maidana won 3 without hurting him

i had him winning one, Guerrero provided no threat like khans speed or maidanas power, so floyd was asleep for that fight

Cotto and Old Mosley are the only ones I can think of who have won a clear cut round against Mayweather since his retirement.

Neither Khan or Maidana are as good as they are.

I reckon they might get some close feel out rounds, but nothing else.

Off that list, Khan maybe gets one or two close rounds Mayweather 'takes off'. Maidana will be shut out completely. Broner is obviously a troll option.

Khan has the speed and intensity to cause Floyd one or two problems, but Floyd will eventually figure him out, and Khan will naturally slow as the fight progresse's. Khan is also less than genius like, and will lose heart quickly when he starts getting made to miss, and can't figure out a plan B.
Maidana is unorthodox, he throws heavy shots from weird angles, and he's willing to trade and take punishment in order to land his own, but Floyd will tie him up and try and wear him down before outboxing him. I think Marcos will start to get countered heavily by the middle rounds, and as he slows Floyd will get busier.
One thing to think about is the Hatton fight, Floyd doesn't like pressure and intensity, and Hatton had both and was having plenty of success in the early rounds. Hatton would never have beaten Floyd, but had Cortez not intervened at every opportunity i think the fight would have been entertaining for 6 or 7 rounds.
Castillo beat Floyd in the first fight, but i think Floyd is a completely different fighter now.
I'd pick Floyd to UD Maidana something like 9-3, and i think he'd he'd eventually bust Khan up and force a TKO.

there is a chance because of maidanas awkard style that he might catch floyd. marcos has some similarities to mayorga and a prime 147 ricardo was dangerous.

todays versoin of khan, especially taking into consideration that the fight will be at 147 where amirs power will in all likelihood be less effective and his punch resistance will be worse, has less of a chance than a prime maidaina who after his alexander fight has settled in nicely at the weight.

i dont give maidaina much of a chance but his chance is far greater than what i give khan who is the textbook definition of china.
