Who cares about Cotto-Mayweather

Nah because Mayweather does not have enough punching power to stop a true welter. Let's get 1 thing straight he knocked out a junior welter, a guy who generally weighs 138-140 for his fights. Floyd weighed in at 150 when he fought Oscar so that is a big difference. Cotto has a beast of an upper body and he walks around at 160-165 at times so remember he has some sort of power for that weight class. I see Mayweather beating Cotto as of right now but I would put the house up of a stoppage by Mayweather. Not going to happen. Besides Cotto pressure would be too demanding because of his upper body and Floyd would feel a whole different type of pressure with Cotto with a whole different type of power to go with that. But I still like Mayweather to win a close fight though.

Cotto is bigger, stronger and more powerful and skillful than hatton

But he's much slower.

That makes an interesting fight but I say Mayweather takes it comfortably outboxing him. Cotto doesnt have the footspeed to trap Mayweather like Hatton and his defence, though better than Hattons, is still weak enough for Mayweather to tag him plenty

But Mayweather would respect Cotto's strength and power

 

Just shut the **** up, Cotto doubters always contradict themselves. Did Cotto's speed matter against fast boxers like Judah or Mosley? NO. Cotto is always in control of the pace of the fight. Mayweather was losing 3 out of 4 rounds against Hatton in the beginning of the fight. If Mayweather thinks he can do the same **** against Cotto, he'll get KTFO.

 

People really need to stop comparing Cotto and Hatton. Hatton has absolutely no offensive ability whatsoever. If DLH had a close fight with Mayweather, then Cotto would definitely do much better.

 

I wanna see Cotto-Mayweather. That's the only fight left.

 

I want to see it as well .Nobody is beating Floyd at the center of the ring ! I want to see this fight just for the skill factor alone ..It be more boxing in this one and less hugging !
