Who cares about Garcia/Khan 2? Bring on Garcia/Mathysse

Matthyse vs Garcia would obviously be my first choice since Lucas more than deserves the shot in my opinion but if that isn't happening right away I'd settle for Garcia vs Khan II as a consolation.

It'll be interesting to see how both guys adjust and it'll be exciting as you already know Garcia has the power to finish Khan, while Khan will believe he just needs to rely on his boxing skills and not get caught clean like in the first fight.

 

Perhaps,but some of us felt that Maidana was vastly overrated then and that assertion has come to pass.
Matthyse on the other hand has had nowhere near the recognition he deserves and is clearly improving with experience.The LMM that lost to Judah and Alexander had no lateral movement and was a tad one-dimensional even though he was pleasing on the eye.
I would've picked Khan to beat him 18 months ago,but for all Khan's speed,he's always been wide open to some of the most obvious punches in the game and no one can say that the Molina fight showed anything different.There were times when Garcia would've licked his lips at the openings for a left hook Molina had.

 

I'd agree with that.

It's part of what makes Khan fights so exciting. From the interviews with Khan and Virgil Hunter it sounds as if they are making progress but there will be no telling how true that is until he's back in the ring again. I think the Molina fight was always going to be too soon to see a noticeable change in style.

 

I figured you're a trolling dumbass. How the hell would Khan school him when he's still wide open to the very same counter that laid him on the canvas only to jump up and give us his trademark kangaroo jump all over the ring? Molina, who was a carefully picked undersized opponent, landed that very same punch over and over. Watch Khan cruise away from a rematch in shameless fashion, as he did with Prescott but far more shameless this time, and hope for ******s like you to back up his deluded claims till someone else lays him on the canvas.
