How did boxing fans get brainwashed? General sports fans are not interested in the "jockey fighters" under 140 lbs. 18 of the top twenty of all time are heavier (see below). No wonder boxing has left the mainstream. Now how many of the weight divisions are UNDER 140 lbs. There are 10!

bwa ha ha. I've seen auggie sanchez lay out middleweight professionals with body shots in sparring. Some of these little guys will beat you to death. I promise you Pac or Barrera are generally dangerous men to screw with if you aren't on the world level even if you are much bigger.

Hamed with his bare fist can probably knock out just about anybody if he sucker punches them just right.

While this overstates it a bit, I certainly prefer fighters in the 140 and up classes over those below - and I suspect this is true of most boxing fans.

Other than welterweight, 122-130 is where most of the big fights/talent is at now.

You realize one of the rhings that makes boxing to a lot of fans of the sport is that you don't need to be 6ft 5in and 250 lbs to have a chance to secuded.
