Hearn probably comes out the best because he's trying to protect his biggest British asset. Benn the worst as he failed a drugs test and it's clear he cheated. Kalle is not far behind at all though. He's looking after Eubank Jr and should have been adamant that the fight won't take place, but he wanted it to go ahead.

Why are there lots of people within the boxing community who dont want to comment on the matter ?

I have spoken to several journalists who have tried to obtain comments but it is incredibly difficult. No one wants to comment.

Hearn has come across a scumbag but he’s got about 80 other fighters and can just move on to a different card whereas Conman Benn will always be known as a dirty little drug cheat.

    Can just imagine that.

I was cringing listening to Bunce's podcast the other night; superficially he was "asking all the questions" but asking Barry Jones and himself those questions kind of isn't the point. And spent a bit of the show defending the promoters.

The BBBofC should have known what they were getting into by appointing the 1980's lipsticked goth as Chairman. What did they expect?

Benn, Hearn, Kalle and BBBC all complicit in pretending nothing happened until the Daily Mail exposed them, they are all looking terrible in my book.
As to who comes out looking the worst? The BBBC feel like some shadowy organisation that has suspicious judges, I'd love it if they were reformed, but they are a faceless organisation that I doubt will ever change. They will keep quiet and it will be business as usual.

Kalle, should have protected his fighter and he's a major let down, but it wasn't his fighter that was caught, so I guess he will evade a lot of the fall out.

Hearn's has been exposed, but he could talk his way out of anything and keep the casuals on side, a few weeks of BS interviews and he will by selling something else.

Benn ultimately is the one caught cheating, even though his future fights will probably sell, I doubt he can be the star that Matchroom had started to invest in, building him as the next superstar. He's lost fans and will always have suspicion and doubt hanging over him. I'm not sure if he's got the strength of character to not let this bother him deep down. It will be interesting to see how many boos he gets in his next fight. So Benn is the answer for me.

Eubank SR on Eddie Hearn/Prince Naseem Hamed:

Always trust and give. There were two young men I took under my wing when they were 15 – Naseem Hamed and Eddie Hearn. I bought them leather jackets, (and) those brick-style mobile phones to call me for advise, (and) took them for rides in my expensive cars, (and) had them at my wedding and so on and so forth.

Nothing but kindness, nothing but giving. And even these guys threw me under the bus! Just like the rest. And it’s a wonderful thing, because you can look yourself in the mirror and know you have goodness.

    When Whyte couldn’t get a title shot….

If your promoter isn’t capable of landing you one world title fight, then your promoter is exposed as a talker; a fly-by-night. And as they said in the East End – the loud ones never last; the Essex Boys, the pretty boys, the fly-by-nights.

Barry Hearn got me the Benn fight in less than 18 months total, and I wasn’t even mandatory contender. That’s a man you can’t fault.

    Benn clearly but also Hearn.

Hearn was literally talking about why he wouldn't let Buatsi fight Pascal because of VADA testing whilst he knew Benn had failed a test. You couldn't make that up.

Hearn's conduct around this was appalling but the Board also look very bad. Blind eyes and deaf ears turned.
Props to whoever bubbled the whole sorry affair to the Mail.

Conor Benn without a doubt, if nothing else for being so stupid as to get caught.

UKAD haven't covered themselves in glory either imo, for all the 'if the Daily Mail hadn't have run the story the fight would've gone ahead' talk the reality is if both fighters hadn't voluntarily agreed to the extra testing the fight would have gone ahead.

Eddie and Kalle have got the appropriate amount of criticism i'd say, at the end of the day the fight COULD have still gone ahead if they let it , they did eventually pull it but not before they rightly got crucified from all angles.
