Joking apart, I would assume he's not been near a hearing for the previous failed test yet.

    Probably not.

Boxing is so slow these days.

Bit like Dillian Whyte and Chisora, I don't really care as he is not exactly oozing excitement in the ring.

The heavyweight scene is a joke at the moment.
Besides a few (Usyk, Joyce, Zhang) most of the top heavies are scared of taking risks and expect mega money for fighting bums.

Why take a risk when you can meet a nobody and get paid well at the same time ?

Mitch is terrified of the prospect of Joshua fighting Wilder, hence he wants Joshua fighting relative no-name opponents instead. It's also why he will never answer my question about where he'd rank Wilder and Joshua in his top 10 if Wilder beat Joshua.

    - Makhmudov may well have lost to the Takam who fought Povetkin or Chisora and even the Wach who fought Wlad

    - Sanchez decisioned Ajagba, his 2nd best win is probably a back and forth fight with Carlos Negron (who was beaten in similar fashion by Breazeale)

    - Bakole decisioned Yoka (who recently lost wide to Takam), decisioned Kuzmin controversially and got stopped by Hunter after trying to quit

    - Hunter stopped Bakole and schooled Kuzmin but drew with Povetkin and Forrest, was schooled and battered by Usyk and has been inactive as a pro boxer since late 2021

    - Hrgovic has a controversial decision over Zhang, his 2nd best win McKean, whose best win is scraping past Jonnie Rice in a war

Wilder's best win is over an opponent Mitch admitted was better than Whyte and Parker even after Wilder beat him, which by his own logic puts Wilder well above Whyte or Parker, he used to credit Wilder with a draw against Fury and he's publicly rated Wilder as high as 3rd:

Didn't you rate Martin above Takam in 2021?

"Useless" Breazeale is on Takam’s level by Mitch's own admission, so logically everyone below or on par with Breazeale on Joshua's record (20 of his 26 wins) is either useless or worse than useless.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the other back up opponent’s for the whyte fight. Aj vs Chisora or kabayal

Surely it won’t be Chisora. I would be very surprised if it was.

Anyone can make an argument for anything if they pick and choose there points to fit their narrative.

Mitch knows himself Wilder sleeps any of them on the list who he believes are ‘better’ than him. Wilder also sparks the current version of AJ within a couple of minites

    Joshua
Look at what Andy Ruiz reduced Joshua to in New York and Wilder would wipe out any version of Joshua.

Mr Hearn told the public he was Anthony 'Ali' Joshua but the more shrewd members of the public with a boxing eye could see Joshua was not much better than Danny Williams.

Correct observation. Safin accused Mitch of being insecure about Wilder and his ability to spark Joshua in a post from 2021 iirc.

This is implicit from the fact that Mitch rated Fury "outside my top 14" (below Chisora, Dubois and Kownacki) prior to Wilder 2 but rated Fury as the 2nd best heavyweight immediately after Wilder 2. The only plausible explanation for this is that Wilder was secretly either Mitch's 1st or 2nd top heavyweight prior to Fury beating him.

Wallin is a significant underdog against Gassiev, who presumably has A-side advantage in Asia Minor. But it will be hilarious to see Mitch malfunction again if Wallin wins, as he's on record labelling Wallin as a "3rd tier opponent" this year, with Gassiev in the "1st tier" (with Whyte who blatantly ducked Wallin also being "1st tier").
