Mainly the grief they gave Fury for boxing him a year earlier, they are also close friends and AJ said he would never box him.
I’m hoping instead of AJ and Wilder taking interim build fights, they just fight in Vegas, as long as they put on a great undercard the venue will sell out, not sure of the PPV numbers being on Dazn but I’m sure it’ll help in promoting Dazn heavily in all territories… Wilder probably beats whoever he fights next but I’m not sure about AJ, think it’s better that they just roll the dice now. Miller or Whyte if they can’t get the Wilder fight on, I’d say Miller “unfinished business” and all that
If Joshua was going to fight Wilder in Vegas he would have done it 5 years ago. The way he performed and acted in his only appearance in the States makes me very doubtful that he would agree to this now.
Yeah but one fight doesn’t define a fighter, as long as he has some sort of mental training before hand I’m sure he can redeem himself and I have him beating Wilder. Saying that, if Matchroom get him to ring the Wall Street opening bell, put him onto talk shows where he’s talking about Fury drawing with Wilder and “when he goes to another fighters back yard he knocks them out” because that’s what he is about, or they have a choir sing him out at the weigh in I think he’ll kneel to the pressure and lose.
Ade from DAZN said in his YouTube video yesterday that the names he’s heard mentioned for AJ’s next fight are awful.
Seriously what's the point of AJ fighting these 2nd tier heavyweights? He may as well stay inactive or just retire instead of padding his record, same goes for Joseph Parker who is doing the same thing currently.
Did Whyte not only recently test positive? Surely he will be in hibernation for a while? Or have l missed something?
He did but no one cares about the drug testing anyway, they usually appeal and ignore it, sit out for 9 months and then fight again like nothing happened, plus the B sample will go missing again
The Institute of Connor Henn has officially cleared Dillian Whyte of all four failed drugs tests and any more not in the public domain or in the future.
AJ is one of the people being interviewed by Louis Theroux in his next series. Wonder if he’ll manage to come across as somebody remotely human for once or just a total weirdo like always.
