Is there anyone in HW division history who you would pick to beat the Tyson from 1986 to 1989?

    Ali
    Louis
    Liston
    Foreman
    Frazier
    Larry Holmes
    Jack Dempsey
    Jack Johnson
There's more. I don't have time right now though.

Lewis, Holyfield and IMO, Vitali have the best chances. But I wouldn't make anyone a strong favourite against Mike.

I don't see Louis's chin holding up to Mike's power.

I think Tyson would struggle in today's HW division. HWs are bigger now than they were in his time.

    Ali, Lennox and possibly Louis.

And I still wouldn't go against Mike with them lot.

People mention size, but where's the skill? Fury has no skill compared to Mike. Fact.

Ali. That's about it. Possibly Lennox.

6 foot 5 230 lb guys with polished technique versus 6 foot 7 250 lb guys with poor technique. Tyson would eat everyone alive today. 86 to 89 is rather broad though. Still a little green in 86 and could be outboxed and outlasted to s decision ala prime Holmes. Foreman and Ali are about it maybe peak Bowe and Liston doub it though. Tyson would be too much for Louis and Lewis imo.

Tyson in his prime was able to dominate very talented, huge men .. he shut out Mitch Green, Bonecrusher Smith, crushed Carl Williams, Tyrell Briggs and beat up Tony Tucker, Razor Ruddock, Frankl Bruno, Lou Savarese, Andrew Golota .. Tyson was a complete ass and the author of his own fall but in his prime he was one hell of a rare heavyweight ..

I don't think Tyson would have the chance to make Louis's chin a problem.
