Because I don't see anyone else that could match his speed. I just think Ali is the only guy that could mess with his mind. There is a possibility that Tyson had a better mindset when he was in shape. I look at the first round of Briggs vs Tyson as the whole fight against a prime Ali

Well I feel you're being incredibly biased. There are at least five people who would beat Tyson.

Not biased. Just my opinion. That's all these threads are is for opinion. There no way to factualise anything that didn't happen

Fair enough. I respect your opinion, though I believe you are absolutely wrong.

prime Sonny Liston would intimidate and then batter prime tyson. I think he'd ko him inside of 6 rounds.

    Yes-

    Ali
    Holyfield
    Foreman

    Pick 'em-

    Lewis
    Bowe

    They have a chance-

    V. Klitshko
    W. Klitschko

They would provide a tough fight but come up short-

    Frazier
    Louis
    Marciano
    Johnson
    Liston
    Witherspoon

    Don't get mad, but no-

    Charles
    Tunney
    Dempsey
    Walcott

Liston was good, it would be a great fight. I'll take Tyson though. They both were strong guys with good punching power. Pretty close in size but Liston had a much longer reach. Tyson was much faster, hands and feet. Tyson also had solid wins over big talented Heavyweights, unlike Liston.

    Wladimir.
    Vitali.
    Lewis.
    Fury.

Any small heavyweights under 6''4' would have had big problems with prime Tyson.
