I thought Hopkins won by a point, and if Calzaghe does not retire, I think Hopkins is the one he should fight.
The person that has come closest to beating Joe is Kessler and that was in Wales. And this is in Joe's own words. Joe says the Kessler fight was close and he was not sure he could win until he felt Kessler tire in round 6. The Hopkins fight he says was not close, it was just messy and boring. Kessler won first 5 rounds and 12 even. Hopkins was not as close as some like to imagine. Bernard first 2-3 rounds, Joe the rest.
Dawson is a ****ing nobody, he is the next lacey and the next Kessler This content is protected This content is protected
Why would anyone think Dawson would beat Calzaghe? He isn't as fast as Calzaghe and wouldn't knock Calzaghe out. Therefore, it would be an easy points win for Calzaghe.
Idiot of the week goes to :rofl Since when did they get internet in "the hood" Haven't you got some crack to sell or some "peoples" to rob?
Dawson would have some chance, and I believe Kessler would have a better chance too, but they wont fight again so theres no point going into that.
Bull****. Hopkins arguably DID beat Joe; Kessler got thoroughly outclassed. :smoke Kessler won the first five rounds? NO WAY was Kessler-Calzaghe closer than Hopkins-Calzaghe. That anyone even suggests this is amazing!
nobody can beat calzaghe from mw to lhw so get used to it as it is a fact, now to answer the question(who can beat calzaghe?) you would have to start looking into cw or hw .
Considering how close the first fight was, I don't know how anyone could dismiss B-Hop as a viable challege to upset Calzaghe. I also think a beefed up Abraham could present a interesting challenge.
Lacy was thoroughly outclassed. There is a big difference between that fight and Calzaghe-Kessler,which I scored 115-113 Calzaghe.
