Possibly Cotto, Williams, and Margarito. I'll even throw Clottey in there with his style. As long as he doesn't get injured again. lol
If PAc can meet Oscar, then Mayweather can meet Calzaghe, Kessler, Bute and Taylor. That would be nice. Mayweather would have about 5% chance in either fight.
Mayweather one of the most alert and ring smart fighter ever, Cotto had a chance but after that defeat he might never be the same. Mayweather vs Pacman would have been a good fight, still could be. But still Mayweather would come out on TOP .
1. Spinks 2. Cotto 3. Santos 4. Clottey 5. Margarito I give DLH a better chance in a rematch against PBF than Williams
Its hard to see anyone from 147 downwards beating Mayweather but I would give a less ring rusty DLH the best shot. Who knows, if Oscar looks great at the weight vs Pacman & really does a job, we might get FMJ/DLH II at WWT. Botswana :smoke
I wouldnt bet the house on that, Floyd is no mug & is cut from the same type of cloth as Whitaker, this would be close.
Cotto a better chance than Williams? Cotto is so prone to uppercuts it's not even funny. The man would be tore up in the mouth, and Floyds power is very underrated and would snap that chin. Williams presents the toughest match up. The size difference would be the biggest test Mayweather has ever faced. A good 5 inches of height with 5 inches of reach per arm.
Why? Because Quitana beat him in a close fight? Paul should be favored to beat Mayweather on physical qualities alone.
Of course he will but anyone with a right mind will know thats not right. Paul throws a lot punches but he doesn't waste shots ala Margo. Margo just throws and throws and he doesn't care if its blocked or if he hits you clean. Paul looks for the openings and he would just need to fight tall. And take advantage of his range. Im a huge Mayweather fan and even I know this would be his toughest test.
