He would do way better. Cotto is prone to uppercuts. Look at the one Mayweather opponent who was prone to them.

I believe Mayweather would Wax Cotto. Miguel Angel would be outclassed

I think Margo gives him fits, It's a toss up to me. This is soley on Margo's Chin. I belive Mayweather would do what Cotto did to Margo only better. However I think Cotto hits with a little bit more pop to it which would make it hard for mayweather to keep Margo off of him.

Mayweather would fight the whole fiht backing up. Which isn't really a problem for him. but he would never get to a point where we would land combos like he did on a Hatton. Margo is just too big and to good of a chin.

So ultimately Margo's Chin would give Money Problems.
I still think Money could pull off a close points win but leaving the fight more hurt than margorito.

Mayweather takes whatever his opponent(s) give him ... and in the case of Cotto and Margarito that is plenty ... those guys get hit alot and leaving Mayweather any opening isn't good for either of them.

I find it funny how nobody is sure that certain people can beat Floyd but they say they wanna see him fight these guys...knowing that he has the best chance to win and his victory will only be discredited...I think that might be why he retired??

No one out right now can beat PBF ... I think he's alright retired ...

the winner of the so called "eliminator" between Pacquiao, DLH, and Hatton ... those are the three guys who have the most fan fair and they all have the creditials and money make opportunities that Mayweather would be looking for.

I know alot of Hatton fans are think that Hatton has a chance ... Pacquiao fans think he could beat anyone and are looking forward to a bout with Mayweather (as well as me) and DLH can convince anyone of his fans that he still has enough to beat Mayweather.

Overall Mayweather has no legit threat out there in the boxing community ... Cotto, Margarito, Williams, Pacquiao, Hatton, DLH ... cannont beat Mayweather and those are the big names in the industry.

We've always been hearing how weak Cotto's chin is, how open he is for straight rights, uppercuts, how he was going to be hurt to the body etc... well, against Margo (a hard puncher) Cotto was broken down physically and mentally, not really made to do the chicken dance, Mosely's right hand landed some times, yet not at will and he lost, Judah landed hard lefts and uppercuts, yet Cotto won also. I personally think Cotto (along with others like Williams and Clottey) have a better than average chance at beating Mayweather. If De La Hoya and Hatton were competitive against Floyd, than any of the names mentioned above would give him a good fight with a chance to upset the former p4p king.

hatton was competitive??? he was down from 3 -7 rds after 9 and then got ko'd...I like cotto alot but ur points aren't convincing....he was brutalized against margo...he was visibly shook vs judah...he was down and out vs a 140 lb torres and hurt bad by corley,,,shane took everything he had and cotto was dancing the last 2 rds..he has balls and heart and he is a great fighter but style wise PBF just boxes circles around him..not quite as easy as AM though
