Are there any fighters you would favor to beat Rocky Marciano with a weight limit of 190 lbs? 190 lbs means they are 190 lbs in the ring, not a 215 lbs guy who was 190 the day before.

Jack Dempsey - 187 lb for the Willard fight.

Maybe Ezzard Charles if he was 2 years younger. Maybe. But Rocky would be favoured.

IMO Rocky would batter Beterbiev. I know Artur is strong and could knock Rocky down but i think Marciano would be smart enough to beat him. I do not see Beterbiev taking too many of Rocky's sledgehammers.

I would favour Rocky over Sam Langford, who i am a big fan of but there is limited footage of him, and i think Rocky probably hits harder and stops him. Still Sam's skill, speed and power would give him a 30% chance.

    In summary:

    Dempsey 60-40 favourite over Rocky.
Rocky 70-30 favourite over peak Charles
Rocky 70-30 favourite over peak Langford
Rocky 90-10 favourite over James Toney

Moorer if he weighed 190 not 175.

He never got hit by that kind of power, however both fighters used to cheat by dipping below the opponents waist.

And after he swept 12 rounds in a total clowning he still would never have been hit with that kind of power.

It would actually be fun to see Mayweather get knocked out by his own shoulder when he tries the roll on Rocky.

Maybe Roy Jones but not a good bet to make . Younger version of ezzard charles would have a chance. Dempsey would be a dangerous opponent. Cruiserweight Holyfield would be tough. Hard to make any of them favorites though.

I don’t know. Moorer was almost beaten by Burt Cooper and that was when Michael was around 214.

Muhammad Ali was 178 lbs when he won olympic gold. I think the young Ali has a chance at this before he gained major weight.

Only Ezzard Charles would be 50/50. Maybe Michael Spinks. Again, up to the imagination.

Dempsey--didn't fight the best of his generation. How good was he really? How do we know?

Holy--Evan Fields. How much of his "greatness" was due to HGH, even at cruiser?

Roy Jones--also a PEDs guy, and his style was no goof for Rock in the first place. His chin would not hold up. And he would not slap a hundred punches a round.
