I really think so. Footwork and handspeed would be an elusive target for Marciano.
I even think Marciano's bulldog attacks would benefit Cassius Clay more.
Cassius Clay wouldn't let what happened to Jersey Joe Walcott 1 happen to him.
    P.S. I wouldn't question Muhammad Ali's chin.

You think Cassius Clay was too green?

Qawi vs Marciano would be a war but the issue I see, is that I think Marciano hits a bit too hard for Qawi. Once Qawi felt Spink's right hand he went into a bit of shell.

Now don't get me wrong i love Qawi, and hes one of the best at mixing aggression/defense/counter punching. But I feel like Marciano's power would be the deciding factor, and also Qawi's short height which he used to his advantage against taller fighters. I also don't think that would be effective against Marciano's crouching style.

It's possible to know Rockt was a great fighter but pick others as possibly over him ... I say Sam Langford .. Dempsey I just don't know but possible .. Johnson won the title at 191 or so so if he counts I see him as able .. certainly not many ..

Ali got hit a lot by this guy; if Marciano hit him as many times it would not have been good for Clay.
Ali/Clay had insane speed at that weight but probably was literally starving, so taking Rocky's
hard punches would have been curtains for him.

RJJ's speed may have dazzled Marciano, but could his chin take those shots?

Holyfield always has a good chance against anyone at any weight.

Qawi-Marciano would have been another Lyle-Foreman.

Dempsey's movement gives Rocky fits, but I think loses when Rocky punches
    him through the ropes.

I came to post this. Cruiserweight Holyfield might be able to pull it off. What a brutal fight that would be.

Holyfield has the requisite beard to survive the distance to win on points. Not sure that at 190 he could KO the Rock.

What stage of his career was he at? Louis was pretty poor leading up to his loss to Schmeling, his defense improved a lot in the following years.

Nope. He sucks and Marciano has a much better chin.

Completely disagree. Dempsey set the record for 1st round knockouts. Rocky tended to grind guys down with a barrage of shots breaking them down. Dempsey also has more proven power against larger men over 200 lbs such as Firpo, Fulton, Willard, etc. Rocky's best opponents were on the smaller side and in their late 30's.

Marciano punched far harder than Benn, Walcott would have destroyed Benn, Marciano punched far harder than Eubank who was beaten by Carl Thompson, Eubank was naturally bigge than Benn who`s power didn`t carry up the same at 168, he was also hurt badly by Galvano.
