Swarmers would be the most likely ones to beat Fury. Tyson, Frazier, or Marciano. Someone that could attack his body, slip, and not tire out over 12-15 rounds. Thing is nobody really fights like this anymore. This style fell by the wayside in favor of the boxer-puncher, who do a little of both but most don't excel at either one.
Fury looked slow and chunky in 3rd Wilder match. He started going downhill. I think Usyk will smash him. Historically, Vitali, Lewis, Ibragimov and Tyson would all KO Fury.
Lewis, Holmes, both Klitschko brothers, M. Tyson. Lewis: Great combination of skill and size. High ring IQ. M.Tyson: Power, speed, movement. If Wilder had success to the body, Tyson hurts Fury down there. Holmes: speed, power and great jab. I can see Holmes power jabbing Fury to the chest and body all night. Mixing his punches up. The Klitschko bros: size, power, IQ. In my opinion, all these guys have a chance with the right game plan. But, when Fury is dialed in, he is a difficult task for all the HW ATG's.
All 3, but Fury would have a chance with Vitali, it's close to 50/50 I would favour Holmes and heavily favour lennox
I think a power puncher with good boxing fundamentals could get him in trouble (foreman, Lewis) as well as a swarmer like Tyson. Fury is very hittable and deontays game plan in the first round could be his kryptonite. ( Going to the body to set up hard shots to the head)
You stfu first. Your fragile bodybuilding merchant baby got exposed and beaten like a stepchild. Everyone is talking about Fury and they'll continue to talk forever.
Fury would be a difficult fight for anybody because of his boxing IQ. We still don't know how he would fair against top prime fighters. If he fought Usyk and AJ we would know. Wilder is garbage. He was even outboxed by Shpilka before he KOed him in 10.
My gripe with fury is that he is extremely hittable. The game plan of going to the body to set up power shots seems pretty effective on him. Even a bad boxer like wilder has him in deep trouble in multiple fights. If it was a competent swarmer Tyson or Marciano, they wouldve probably ended it after Tyson got hurt. A power puncher similar to deontay like young foreman and Lewis could likely replicate what deontay did but they would have more opportunities to land their bombs due to much better fundamentals.
Definitely Tyson, he beat plenty of big fellas. I'd be surprised if Fury could keep a focused MT from swarming for 12 rnds. Lewis would probably beat him too. Holmes is a better version of Fury, so l reckon he would also. I don't know enough about the fellas further back to judge.
