On a serious note maybe it would if either knocked him out? A KO win over the biggest HW champ of all time that has never been down must do something for their legacys?

If Wladimir were to beat Valuev, it would show he has the capability of fighting someone a lot taller than himself. Vitali beats haye, also.

    Vitali Klitschko
    Haye
    Chisora II
    Fury
    (retire)

    Wladimir Klitschko
    Povetkin
    Arreola
    Mitchell
    Solis
    Helenius
    (retire)

Looks like a somewhat realistic option which both walk out very much on top.

The biggest prize in historic terms, would be to beat whoever becomes the heir to the throne when they retire.

Of course, neither we nor they know who this will be.

Its important to remember that they are not one person. Just because Wlad beat Haye does not mean Vitali did and just because Vitali beat Corrie Sanders doesnt mean Wlad did.

Sounds good to me and covers a few bases in terms of future champs. Would like to see one of them fight David Price too as he has a bright future in the coming years

Of course. I just meant that at the moment their legacys are fairly even

    Haye for Vitali

Arreola for Wlad (weak chin vs big puncher)

    Povetkin for either

    Yes.

Now such a fight would seem ridiculous, but in 20 years.... many will be using this as his best win.

    Just the way it goes.

Yes. If they can beat a guy who will keep the title for several defenses then that will be an important win.

Right now noone can know who that may be.

Al they can do is keep fighting whats available, cant see either of them getting beaten anytime soon though. They have proved there ATG's already just not as high as some fanatics have them.

Yep, only thing more unheard of is wiping out a division by one man alone.

Great champions who have ruled a division all by themself deserve more props than two guys working together in eliminating contender.

    Don't forget that.
