I am a little harsh towards Wlad sometimes. But when I really think about it this era might not be that bad, it's just that he has beaten all of the good fighters that make good matchups. I was watching some old tape on him and remembered his fights weren't brutally boring like they are now. He seriously needs to retire and let these young prospects take over. A win over a has been or prospect is a waste of his time if you ask me, like any big time boxer calling out RJJ even though the fans know what's up and aren't buying it.

    Arreola does **** for Wlad.

Peter and Haye were both bigger punchers then Arreola could ever hope to be.

Arreola does nothing for nobody until he shows he can actually beat a top 10 fighter.

Honestly, the only real 'legacy' enhancers right now that is there for either fighter is Haye.

All the other fighters are simply too unproven/green, not good enough, or too past it.

    I would though, go after

Helenius - To add a big man on their resume
Fury - once again, to add another big guy to their resume

That way it shows they fought the other big guys in their time.

Right now there are only Povetkin, Haye and Helenius.

A little further down the line there could be Fury, Arreola, Dimitrenko, Tarver, Adamek, Seth Mitchel, Solis, .

In 15 months or more names like Yoan Pablo Hernandez, Luis Ortiz, Boytsov, Pulev, Abdusalamov, Price, Joe Hanks, Chad Dawson, Silahk, Camarelle, could become worthy.

Single opponents will do them very little, as there are none out there that are historically A-levelers. Anything they do at this point, as it's been through most of their careers is about beating a wide range of B- to B+ guys in convincing fashion. They only have an "every little bit helps" group of guys to choose from.

Vitali should go for Haye. He is still imo most likely to lead the division when they move on, currently retired or not...

The others dont even look like wins that will get better with age...

What makes you think that any of these so-called "wide range of B- to B+ guys" weren't capable of becoming "historically A-levelers" with absence of Wlad and Vitali.

You can tell from when they fight eachother, Povetkin - Huck is a case in point, he is supposed to be ranked 3rd in the World yet he is beaten to the jab and getting hurt by right hands from a man who is in his first fight from cruiserweight.. :patsch

Also you can see by the amount of old dogs that are still kicking around getting title shots. Lennox took care of Shannon Briggs in the 90s but yet he is a significant win for Vitali in 2010.

Keep an eye for Hasim Rahman challenging Povetkin for the WBA paper title..:patsch

    Jean Marc Mormeck :patsch

Doubt it - not with all that damage done by rose-tinted glasses that were in style in 70s.
