Haven't seen enough of Patterson below HW, but I'd be pretty confident in picking Roy to beat Moorer at 175.

In regards to Saad, Saad gets hit too much and I don't think he'd be able to launch one of his patent comebacks against Roy.

While the Spinks Jinx was powerful, I don't think it was as powerful as Foster's left hook.

I'd go with Jones over anyone 160-175. He might not beat everyone every time at 160 but he has the sped and skills to beat anyone, on eachother's best day. His biggest test would come at 175 against Ezard Charles. I like Jones to win but Charles has the speed and skills to beat Jones.
Even if you can prove Jones had a weak chin all along. There is no one other than Charles who had the speed and skills to test his chin.

WOW. Really? Harder than Fosters left hook? Hard than Moore's right cross? Harder than Moorers straight left??

You severely overrate Spinks power. It was good, but best ever at the weight?

Not even close. And Jones could keep up power wise. When he unleashed at lt heavy, people felt it.

And no one maneuvers RJ around the ring in his prime.

RJ is the best natural fighter ever, but he did struggle with fighters that could jab. He was struggling with Griffin before he knocked him out. Hagler and Monzon would more than hold their own with RJ has nothing to do with them being classic fighters. We talking best of the best. Foster, Spinks, and especially Charles had very good chances. Dawson would be very competitive.

My bad. :D Fixed, but Dawson would be very competitive being a southpaw that could jab. I'm comparing them on their best nights tho. Stylewise he'd give RJ fits.

Do you really think so, Powerpuncher?

But i thought the fact that Jones got knocked out at the age of 35 clearly showed to unbiased:lol: fans that Jones was overrated, always had a glass chin, no heart and avoided everybody.

And in his prime he would be troubled by the jab, outboxed on the ropes and knocked out with one punch by any ATG.

And considering Jones' past prime loses he probably can't be rated higher than top 100 - after all you can't seriously rate highly fighters like Charles who had something like 20 losses:lol:

Name one fighter that could catch Jones flush ?? Its easy to say a man has no chin when he can't get out of the way of punches ..

A wiser Hopkins could have spoiled his way to a close decision.
Monzon would have a good chance
Haggler would keep it competitive but jones would be to good
