Gimme a break! Serious overrating of McClelland. Michael Nunn was pretty special on his day and his athleticism rivalled RJJ's so I will agree he had the potential. 168 Leonard was not the same as 147 Leonard. I'd take Roy at SMW over Ray all day long.

Hagler couldn't beat a welterweight, he isn't troubling RJJ

McClellan would of had a solid chance - while he was still being trained by Steward

its a list that never ends really

    roy jones

    - is a proven banned anabolic steroids taking disgrace
    - cannot adapt in the ring, when plan A doesn't work, he has no plan B
    - when faced with adversity, true champions move up a gear, where as roy jones folded like a lawn chair
    - had a disgracefull glass jaw
    - never beat a linear champion in his entire career

you delusional roy jones ballsuckers can keep peddling the fanboy bull**** as long as you like, but the above acts will always remain.

Conn, Charles and probably Moore would get him at 175, but he would make a mess of most of the others.

Somewhat fresher and hungry The Road Warrior Glen Johnson of 2004 beat the crap out of Superdude!!!
And in that night Roy of any prime would be crushed exactly the same!!!
    Glen was unstoppable that night!!!

At 175, Qawi has a better chance than some of these guys being named. Educated swarmer, difficult to catch clean, physically strong with heavy hands. Roy always had a tendency to go back into the ropes, which would hurt him against Qawi. Roy showed a nice jab at times (Paz, Ruiz), but it was no Spinks jab, and he wouldn't be able to neutralize Qawi with it like Spinks did.

I don't think Qawi wins, I still think Jones takes a decision with his outrageous speed and his own unorthodox skillset, but Qawi is a live underdog and I would think more highly of his chances than Calzaghe, McClellan, Moorer, Leonard. Leonard at 168, WTF? He wasn't impressive in any of his fights above 160. Lalonde had 1/10th the talent of Jones and he hurt Leonard a few times. Hearns in 1989 is levels below a 1994-96 Jones at 168, and he beat Leonard in the eyes of nearly everyone (including Ray). Glen Johnson? Come on now.
