    Lloyd Marshall
    Ezzard Charles
    Harry Greb
    Gene Tunney
    Billy Conn
    Sam Langford
    Archie Moore
    Jimmy Bivins
    Floyd Patterson

all made 168 and have a very good chance of beating the **** out of Jones to be frank.

I always wonder when people say these type of thinbgs about fighters that they have NEVER actually seen in a fight.

it says more that you think the strap had anything to do with calzaghe being the best SMW in the world
if you want to judge a fighter for "defending a worthless strap" then look no further than felix sturm - he's never fought a top MW in his life

but calzaghe was the best SMW in the world - and I don't give a **** if he had no belt...
you have a bee in your bonnet about calzaghe at SMW for some reason. I don't know if it's because he eclipsed anything carl froch ever achieved, but for some reason you were trying to sell froch's achievements at SMW as being better than calzaghe's....which isn't even close to being true

What are you talking about, Greb is the only guy on there we don't have fight footage of.

Leave the Jonestown Compound and venture out a little..

Hey STB, here's some footage you Jonestown Kool Aid guzzler.

166 lb Marshall destroying 177 lb Mills.

Don't let this clip full you, Mills was a great boxer who even held his own against some good heavyweights. Marshall was just a beast. Does his movement, speed, two handed power, angles, and unorthdox technique remind you of anybody? Marshall would give Roy all he could handle.

Many of these Jones nuthuggers that tell us he was 'unbeatable' were little kids when Roy was in his Prime and haven't even seen the fights and don't remember how boring the Hopkins fight was (well both fights actually the crowd booed for the majority of the first fight there was so little action) Jones and Hopkins both were scared to engage.

Got a highlight reel of Langford and Greb too?

Why? You can't even comment on the Marshall fight. If you can't see the talent there because its in black and white, you are hopeless. That is a SMW effortlessly destroying a great LHW/CW. Does Jones have a better performance on tape?

They both looked much slower than Jones.

Eh? Mills is quick but slower but any difference between Marshall and Jones is marginal at best in their quicker movements. They both had different gears, you can nit pick both men's slower punches and contrast to the other's faster ones. But overall, you are kidding yourself if you think Marshall is "much slower" How about Marshall's blink or you miss it left hook knockout..seen that from Jones? They are both damn fast and move the same. Marshall is also 33 in this fight!

The complete change up head slip at 6:10 that has the English girl making a face...Jones ever face anybody that moved liked that? Rather you like it or not, Marshall at 168 has got a shot.

My point is simple, you make a comment that certain fighters would beat Jones and you've never even seen a full fight of theirs.

I can go online and literally watch every fight Jones ever had,n start to finish.

Yet a few minutes of grainy footage, or perhaps even NO grainy footage of certain fighters lead you to believe they would beat Jones??

You realize how ******ed that is right?
