Who could have beaten Floyd?

Mayweather went life and death with Castillo, a guy that Tszyu would have killed, styles makes fights.
Also Barrera, Morales and Dela Hoya getting knocked out by Mayweather?, do your homework boy, Mayweather can win most if not every one of those fights, Barrera was stopped once, by a featherweight Pacquiao who was a storm, Dela Hoya wasn't stopped by Vargas, Trinidad or Mosley but Mayweather stops him?, Morales was stopped for the first time after more than 50 fights and only was stopped by Manny and Garcia, not only past his prime but by harder punchers than Floyd.

 

Pacquaio from 2009-10 would have had the best shot. Or prime WW versions of De La Hoya and Mosley imo.

I'd favour Floyd to beat anyone at 130lbs. His toughest test would be Arguello but I think he has the ideal style to decision him.
At 135, I'd go with Duran. A perfect clash of styles and I'd favour the Duran that beat SRL. I'd very slightly, 51%-49% go with JCC at Lighweight too.
At 140, I'd slightly favour Pryor. As much as I love Tszyu, I think Floyd would out-point him.
At 147, it gets tougher. To start with - SRR, SRL and (especially) Hearns would have beaten him.
If we're including 154, then a host of guys would have got him including McCallum.

It speaks volumes about Floyd's quality that there's so few fighters I'd favour against him. He's not unbeatable but he#s really f**king good.

 

This is a stupid thread as we have all objectively witnessed Mayweather lose from great fighters, faded ATG's and gatekeepers like Maidana. There is a big list of people who ''could have'' beat him and especially outside of Vegas.

I'd like to throw him in with a 128lb Naseem Hamed and watch him eat corkscrew uppercuts until his uncle Roger ran in and tried to choke Naz only to get wrapped up in Naz's flying carpet, corkscrewed and pushed out of the ring.

 

Vipor truly would had been the only fighter (prior to his left shoulder injury ,ie: legit injury) would had been the worst possible opponent for fmj. But, you asked who would be favored, not who could a, shoulda woulda Bull****.

No one from 154 down would had been the favorite over fmj while he was fighting through the ranks.. nope nadda, zilch..

We also have Spence who is 147 for a little longer, I see Spence fighting through 54 to 60 and being a beast there too.

That's a very slowed down fmj that's truly a tiny ww. We have 135 lbers ****, we have some 130 lbers that out weight him in ring weight. No, it's not the norm but we literally have many 130/35, that got 5/8 lbs on Lil floyd.

He's got a punchers chance, but he'd have less a chance of landing a power shot flush on a defensive wizard like Floyd than he had against MAB.. Floyd would of been too big, and too fast for Hamed, I don't know why you keep trying to argue differently. And prime pac would get beaten and beaten bad. Pac not really going after fmj is what kept him a tiny bit in the fight. Pac goes after him and I see pac getting caught way too much, couplet KD''s I see for sure. Though mostly balance shots, they still rack up the points. I truly believe if pac went after fmj, like round after round fmj would open up big time and I think we'd get a great action fight.

What I don't get is, when I watch fmj very pac, the amount of skill both showed was amazing. Most you fans (yes, FANS on here) claim that was boring.., ****, it's like most of you saw fury very Wlad in thevery ring.

I personally saw the 2 best ww of the last decade straight going at a very highly contested highly tense chess match. Boring is not 1 second I found that match, for me.

I've seen the fight in its entirety at least 20x's and I pick up something missed every time.. I just don't get t g email (fans) I understand the casuals who only understand brawling and knock outs, but us fans, it was great, edge of my seat because that's how great they areven.

They were basically fighting their equals and what was proven was they are great great fighters. Pac bought into the BS that fmj was scared of him and Pac was going to walk right through him. Pac found out quickly that fmj was much more than he was being sold.

Once pac realized fmj could brush off some great clean shots that would put all past opponents down he kind of lost track of the fight.
