Lewis was pretty mangled too. Not as much Vitali obviously but still the worse I've seen Lewis look and the fight lasted only 6 rounds. Lewis not wanting to rematch Vitali tells the story here IMO. Lewis was not confident he could beat Vitali in a rematch.
1) Lewis was great 2) Bowe was great 3) Vitali is great 4) Golota was great 5) Golota is a mental case
Doctors are paid to save lives. He did his job. Lewis ****ed him up so badly that Vitali was almost left with a permanently paralyzed face. Read up on the details. The cut exposed a major nerve.
NICE EPIC FAILURE!! This content is protected This content is protected **** man, Lewis face was ****ed up....:rofl:rofl:rofl
no doubt who needed the plastic surgeon..........LEWIS KICKWED THE **** OUTTA VITALI........... YES VITALI WON 4 RDS TO 2........BUT IT WASSNT OVER TILL IT WAS OVER AND BY THE END....VITALIS FACE LOOKED LOOK JOE HIPPS FACE .:yikes
See all the cussing at me and whatever isn't really necessary, all I'm saying is the man got a severe cut and I absolutely don't deny that. I don't discount Lennox Lewis he was a great champion and an all time great, but it doesn't change the fact that Vitlay was winning the fight and was stopped by a third party (rightfully so), and would have been willing to continue on with a fight he was winning handidly. So to make it out as a beating of epic proportions is a bit of an overstatement and discredits your overall analysis.
4-2 through 6 is nothing.. Lewis won the last 2, and watch the last 10 seconds of the 6th, Vitali is stumbling and hanging on to Lewis like an octopus.
He man I feel where you are coming from, I take nothing from LL he won and that's the bottom line, but to make it out that Vitaly was overmatched and obviously the lesser fighter is a stretch. The man lost but it's not as if this loss is somehow a sign of how "weak" he was, no more no less.
Excuses, excuses.... VITLAY wasn't winning the fight, he was ahead on the cards in the boxing match - but he was losing the 'fight' in a BIG way. Had it continued things would have got extremely bad for VITLAY and we wouldn't be having this discussion right now. Lewis himself said immediately after the fight how lucky VITLAY was that the doctor stopped it, and he was right to say so. Talk of rematches is idiotic, Lewis was 37 years old and slipping at the time of the Klitschko fight - if VITLAY was as good as his fans claim he is then he'd have beaten Lewis, but he didn't and that was that.
Hey douche go back to the post I'm quoting and look up. I was pretty clear in saying that LL won and that's the bottom line. Again I don't see the need to try and make it as if I'm giving excuses for this man, for what? I have no vested stake in his career, I gain or lose nothing through his success or failure, it was a simple statement that I saw as pretty obvious.
That's because he had a big cut over his eye, or did you not notice? I'm not a Vitali fan at all but he was kicking Lewis' ass. That wasn't exactly a prime Lennox Lewis though. I think Vitali and Wlad get beat by most ATG's & champions of the last several decades and many top contenders.
