Toney and Hagler come to mind but they're too big anyway.

Robinson imo, any other fighter at the weight i would think twice about picking to beat him without boxing. I agree with Sweet Pea on Tito-Armstrong. I do think that Tito would beat Jackson at 154 though. Kid Gavilan would be a hard one to make a decision on if Gavilan is restricted to fighting, even he may need to box in this one.

hearns ko'd most opponents by boxing smartly first. he didn't go all out slugging with them

Post Leonard I, When Hearns came up he used to stalk his opponents and blast them out early. The first time he used his boxing ability was just prior to Leonard against Randy Shields. Which suprised eveyone at what a fine boxer Hearns really was. Emanuel Stewart said that was Hearns' style in the Amatuers. But before the Leonard fight Hearns used little boxing ability, He just went after his opponents with guns blazing and was very effective.

Ayala had the tools against fringe contenders and journeyman.Who knows how he would have done against Tito.

In Ayala's last fight before going to Jail, I believe he blasted out the #1 Contender like he was nothing. Herrera? Not to sure..

I was going to go back and add him to my original post. I'm ashamed that I left him out.
