    i don't think anyone would have been the goat over SRR but if Sal Sanchez didn't die so young he woulda been top 10 ATG, same with Pancho Villa!!! Pancho would have been the greatest filipino ever without a doubt, even now I consider him this but most rank Pacman higher.

    Lewis only lose to people he thought was bums, and he was a lazy ****.

    A Prime Tyson vs a Prime Lewis, in a paralleled universe would see the most dedicated version of Lennox ever.

    It will be a great fight, but saying Tyson is in a 'different league' compare to a top 3 h2h monster like Lewis is a travesty

    That's how good Tyson was. If he'd have retired after demolishing Spinks, he'd have been considered unbeatable. Ring magazine ran a cover with that exact headline, UNBEATABLE.
    Lewis was tremendous, but Tyson at his best was an absolute phenomenon.

    Yep, but had he retired there then his best wins were an aged Larry Holmes, and a LHW who was terrified of him.

    More questions than answers, had Mike quit there.

    Disagree. He became the youngest ever champ, ripped through the division and cleaned it out by aged 22 to become the undisputed champ.
    No one, ever, did it with such ruthlessness. Everyone was petrified of him
    As quick as Ali, and as devastating as Foreman. He was something I don't think will ever be seen again.

    My point is that people pick holes in everything.

    The holes they would pick with Tyson, would be his opposition. As quick as Ali, as devestating as Foreman, a hybrid of Heavyweight legends. Against what callibure of opponent? As I said, an old Holmes, or a scared Spinks?

    People would of demanded a fight with Holyfield, had Mike retired, public pressure and money would of more than likely forced a come back. (Assuming he wasn't in jail, or dead by then.)

    Often wondered about some kids somewhere who died young who would/could have been great had they survived and found boxing. Were there other potential SRR's somewhere who never lived past childhood? Most likely.

    With enough ifs and buts you could make a case for many many fighters; for most that have been mentioned already for example

    With stronger bones in his hands

    More of a love for the big fight

    Less ducking and dropping out

    Going to america

    Better resume

    Lots of bad points but he was exciting to watch
