I think that both of them have a minimal chance, but who would still look better in this fight?

Let's see how old Usyk will look against Dubois.

People forget his age and his style movement.

I think he will get hit a lot more than in the past

Why minimal chance, nobody even gave Usyk a chance when he won against AJ, now we are acting like he is unbeatable. AJ wanted to outbox Usyk and lost in terms of skill, but AJ was already a champ, he had everything, except the drive to become the champ.

Both Dubois and Hrgovic are hungry dogs, superheavyweights with k.o. power and with big drive to get the belt. Usky cant k.o. Dubois nor Hrgovic, but can outpoint them. Both of them know this, why would they play his game.

    • Dubois could go all in in first 6 rounds in a hope of k.o., after that he will be spent, and Usyk will get decision. But Usky aswell needs to endure all those punches - and if he runs around the ring and not face them - he will be prolong Dubois stamina.
    • Hrgovic wont chase, he if all is a patient fighter, he will preassure him, and wait for the right attack, also he can put distance between Usky and him with his jab. Also he can play the boring game like Klitcko, he has reach.
In theory, both fighters could keep Usyk in distance and if Usyk gets close he better be prepared to get out fast.

You are correct plenty of people favoured Usyk to beat Joshua in the first fight,a lot of the doubt was if Usyk would get a fair shout on the scorecards however, Usyk did get the win but the score cards were terrible .

Usyk can see Hurgo & Dubious punches from about 50 miles away. I can see their punches from a mile away and I'm no boxer and the fact they're slow also. All fun and games for Usyk.

Only chance they have is bumrush Usyk but they'll hit arms and gloves....but that will work if done well mixed in with some good long range and only Fury is capable of that.

Absolutely, not only did I pick Usyk, I picked him roughly 7 years before he and Joshua fought. From the moment made my first Usyk thread back in September of 2014, myself, @IntentionalButt and @Serge have been unwavering in our belief in him. I did this thread back in 2018.
Why Oleksandr Usyk Is More Than Capable Of Moving Up & Dominating The Heavyweight Division.

    Also from Kirk's Championships. @Sandman_ @khaosai galaxi @VG_Addict @BoxingABC1 @UnleashtheFURY @Max Thunder picked Usyk as well.

And the following voted for Usyk in @IntentionalButt poll.

Usyk was definitely underdog in the first AJ fight. Fans picked him, but regular 'pundits' and trainers were typically concerned about his lack of size and power against SHW AJ and especially after the Chisora fight people thought AJ would be too big and with enough skill.
It's quite similar to the Fury/Wilder fights 1&2 where people say Fury was supposed to outbox him but at the time everyone thought he COULD do that but were worried he was getting KO'd.
The narrative that AJ was doing the heroic challenge also aligns with Matchroom propaganda.

In reality Usyk was the heavy underdog and had it all against him, including the cards.

I think the big problem Usyk has is his lack of finishing power. That can definitely be his undoing when fighting anyone on an away promotion and almost did lose him the fight against AJ. But even against the Croatian he could get robbed in the UK or Dubious in Poland or Wilder in the US. Needing to completely dominate to win on points is difficult to keep up.

Hrgovic can offer more resistance but Dubois has ridiculous power and he can knock out any HW on the planet if he catches them clean. The fact that the guy who arguably has the best chin in the division aka Big Joe Joyce (it's either him or Hrgovic), who is an absolute giant of a man, opted to throw nothing but the jab all night against him and was very wary of getting into exchanges with him should tell you something about how heavy his hands are. And many HWs who've shared a ring with Dubois will confirm this.

Hrgovic is a huge unit and he hits hard but there are at least 10 other HWs who hit harder than him, whereas Dubois is top 5 in terms of power and his jab is like a right hand too.

Stopped reading when you said Usyk can't KO Dubois. Not only will he brutally KO him he will finish the job Kelly Llorena should have done in his last fight.
