then it wasn't the Roy Jones fight you were watching, or at least not with a sober eye.

i cant see jones getting to the end. mike even though passed any form of prime was a big puncher to the end, had the vetrancy not to be like ruiz and throw off balanced right hands and weak jabs and even though he lost to williams and mcbride jones wouldnt be able to grab the scruff of the neck of mike and outmuscle him. mcbride just stayed there long enough to just weighing down on him. williams stayed with him and let him throw while pushing him back and slowing him down...and was most probably going to get danny out of there until his knee gave way.

tyson then was better than ruiz. ruiz wanted to hold and outmuscle, jones didnt get close enough for him to do that. tyson wouldnt be so complacent and cut the ring down faster.

You obviously do not appreciate the subtleties of Ruiz' game. He is the watershed fighter that separates the dilettantes from the experts.

He's the William Gaddis of the heavyweights. Probably a fact checker at Gawker right now...

And you must enjoy watching the grass grow to have such fond appreciation of John Ruiz in action.
