He comes away from all 4 fights with nothing but his own hospital discharge discharge papers.

durans going to get pasted in this one.

even though he hustled hagler to a razor thin decision.

duran could give some good account of himself but roberto doesn't have the devastating power the size or the agility to trouble him. barkley had trouble because barkley was wide and sluggish and proud.which the technician in duran punished him for.

hagler is agressive titanium chined technician who is also southpaw. i think sergio makes too many mistakes defensively that hagler wouldn't allow him to get away with. aggressive but smart. the 2 southpaw positions mean that both defensively are at a slight disadvantage so it might be a slow fight. but marvins paced foreword movement should just buckle and break him down.

hearns....this is more interesting. does hearns try and box him. because if he does sergio could probably throw the awkward angled shot and mess up his usually cool timed right hand so might have to pace foreword to get to him which might play into martinez's favour. if hearns goes for him does he land enough to put him away or does he even have enough to finish. i don't think sergio is as rounded as tommy and Tommy could at least change plan if he wanted to. also tommy's left hook to the body is a killer of a shot and against a southpaw. where the kidney is part exposed and the right side of the body is closer to the opponent so you can land the left hook from a bit of a distance from the left hand heavy martinez.
i think he could nick this once in a blue moon, with hearns chin and stamina and fighting well built southpaw...could pose problems.

leonard. at middleweight ray was a gimmick of a fighter. but had the welter weight leonard fought at 160 for a go at martinez title...yeah leonard would be able to pull it off well. or leonard doesn't have the power of hearns or the destruct and destroy motif of hagler to really make a massive impact on martinez but i think he would out hustle him. ayube kalule is the only southpaw he fought in his prime and did it pretty efficiantly. kalule was a good fighter just fragile.

    Duran's a LW
    Leonard was a WW
Hearns was more effective at 154

So the only real MW there is Hagler, and Marvin beats him.

But just for fun, Hearns knocks him out, Leonard outboxes him, and Duran gets beaten becuase he isnt a middleweight. Martinez gets massively overrated because he beat Pavlik and Williams!

This but you do have to consider the experience they all had and what he has. Eperience wise he is a C.
He is good but he arrived too late.
