Who could step in for Kahn to face for IBF and WBA 140lb belts at short notice?

Theophane is scheduled to fight on the same night as Amir in Britain defending his 140lb british title - he lost a split decision to Danny Garcia a while back and has fought on ESPN a few times - plus Ricky is his promoter - question is - will HBO and the IBF like it enough? WBA just need to be slipped a few g notes and they will be on board!:rofl

Holt would be good as a substitute...Maidana have anything planned?

Way to risky, plus no gaurantee Guzman can boil down to 140lb, dude barely can make 140lb withan 8-9 week camp

But even if Khan did fight someone else, it would mean the other fighter gets short notice. It would be unfair on the other opponent too, as they would have little time to train.

**** all of you, **** 140, he should fight Devon Alexander at 147.

I think devon might avoid that...

Devon looks decent at 147 though.

Alexander is strong as hell at 147 and he didn't take any **** from Maidana, he would do better than Peterson at this point.

Good call. Khan has yet to prove himself against a teak tough Mancunian.
