Who Currently Is The Best American Heavyweight?

I think Chambers is our best prospect... pending on the Klitchko/Thompson fight. Sadly it looks like Kimbo Slice could beat most of the US Heavyweights.

 

Chris Arreola. The guy has the kind of KO power that Eddie Chambers and most of the "top Americans" lack. He's entertaining to watch too, which a lot of American fighters could learn from. When he takes on Tua, he'll KO him too. I want to see him fight for a title soon.

 

I seriously doubt Chris Arreola can do what Lewis couldn't do, even if Tua is a bit older now.

I've noticed with the few U.S. Heavyweight prospects that they seem to lack one thing or the other.

They have the talent and no focus. Or they have the heart but little talent.

Chris Arreola and Tony Thompson, Rock is good when he fancies the job, but when did he last fancy the job.... Ruiz is a live one never easy to beat.. and Eddie Chambers is a great technician..

Thompson, Arreola, Chambers, Ruiz.. Thats my point of view, with Briggs and Rock on the sideline.. (don't anyone dare say Alonzo Butler) or Malik Scott..........

 

Chambers has accomplished more than Arreola at this point so I disagree.

Brock could also get a real trainer instead of his father & get his fat ass back in shape. He had some good skills & reasonable speed, he just gets gassed too easily.

 

BTW, I meant to put Thompson on my list but I haven't seen enough of him to put him above or below any of the others.
