Who defeated the most heavyweight champions - without ever getting a title shot?

H, with the utmost respect mate, do you look up your answers on the net? if so, doesnt that kinda defeat the purpose of asking trivia boxing questions for fun?

 

Most questions I heard before so I have some idea what the answer is. I do check things out by BoxRec at times, and I am one of their editors. There plenty of times when someone asks a question, I think that I heard this before, so I google it and sure enough I find with the statement answer by, Henry Hascup.

There several sports trivia quiz's out there, and one has a question on baseball, which I answer every week.

Here's one just a few days ago.

Name four players who had at least 1,000 hits in each league.

The answer is:

Vladimir Guerrero, Frank Robinson, Dave Winfield and Fred McGriff.

If you try to google it, this is what you will find. At that time, Guerrero wasn't one of them.

Frank Robinson was the 1st to do it followed by Dave Winfield and then Fred McGriff.

brian nielsen should've stepped up to the plate sooner, see if he could've been somebody.

 

He would have been clearly beat by a top HW had he moved stepped up sooner. He was lucky to get the decision vs. a very old Holmes. He was stopped by a club fighter named Dicky Ryan (LKOby10). He later beat Ryan (W8). Most of the name fighters he beat were washed up or just about washed up-

Bonecrusher Smith, T. Tubbs, C. DeLeon, T. Witherspoon, O. Norris, U. Grant, and others.

 

I think that was nielsons problem. He stepped up to the plate too often:yep
