Seems that Mayweather is saying no to a 50/50 split suggesting that he brings more drawing power. I beg to differ. What's your opinion?

50/50.....even if Manny agrees to 45%, the contract will come written at 40.

That's how Floyd will operate this. He'll get Pac to agree to 45%, then when the deal is drawn up it'll be 40. Then, Pac will agree to 40 a week later, and the contract will come in at 35, until finally Pac is at 10% and pursuing people who won't duck him, like ANY OTHER FIGHTER ON THE PLANET.

I thought the purse had been agreed ages ago for ****s sake.

This ****ing fight is a joke. Mayweather is the bigger draw but to make sure it happens they should do 50-50 if that's what it takes.

    I'm completely sick of this

Pacquiao deserves more easily in my opinion. Though I'm sure Pacquiao said YES to a 50/50 split recently.

50/50.... shouldn't even be a ****in issue. But pricing yourself out is the oldest trick in the book.

BASED ON THE NUMBERS SINCE OSCAR DE LA HOYA-

    mayweather ppv

    de la hoya 2.4
    hatton 920k
    jmm 1.05
    mosley 1.4
    ortiz 1.3

    7,025,000 in 5 fights=1,405,000 average

    manny pacquiao

    de la hoya 1.2
    hatton 850k
    cotto 1.2
clottey 750k (debatable-could be more or less)
    margarito 1.15
    mosley 1.3
    jmm 1.5

    7,950,000 in 7 fights-1,135,714 average

OSCAR IS THE COMMON FACTOR WHERE BOTH FIGHTERS HAD A "DIFFERENT" TYPE OF DRAW POWER-

BOTH BECAME 'WORTH' MUCH MORE IN THEIR JOBS REALLY-THEY HAVE THE HIGHEST STOCK IN BOXING-THE #'S SHOW IT.

Pac is p4p king, fighter of the decade, the smaller fighter (size disadvantage). I would argue Pac is a bigger draw overall but that's an open ended debate. Pac's legacy is far superior to Floyd's. Floyd needs this fight more. Pac should get more money.

should be 50/50 but if it would be for a lion share should be Pac.

50/50 split would be reasonable, face it both fighters have drawing power. Mayweather is arguably a bigger draw, but Pac is the PFP king and so on, so 50/50 seems to be fair.

Apart from that, this would be a huge fight, with huge money for both so they should finally stop bitching about a percent here and there.

50/50 all the way.. Either man that asks for more is blatantly ducking.
