I thinky you're right. AM's win over Golden Johnson shook my kin folk in Africa lol. The way he beat Clottey's gloves up with his face...classic. The way AM beat Diaz and the way he lumped up Williams after losing... it all added up. The icing on the cake as to why Floyd will NOT fight AM is the win over ex 140 lb champ Cotto. That is enough to make any man retire lol...

Funny how you bring up Margarito...when in reality he left the sport when asked if he'd face Cotto next (who just outclassed Mosley)

He wouldnt fight anybody after the DLH fight...fine fine...but then comes out because he wants to give a disadvantaged Hatton a beatdown? :think Then decides to call it quits, when he's clearly in his prime

Let's see who were his options at the time...

Williams (who just beat Margarito)

Cotto (who just outclassed Mosley)

and POSSIBLY Margarito...the weakest link of the group AT THAT TIME.

Even before the Hatton fight, Cotto would've out done Hatton in sales...so don't give me this "where's the money" bull****. Don't give me that "what did Cotto do at the time?" either because Hatton hasn't done **** either. Fact of the matter is he ducked Hatton too at 140 after he beat Gatti and Hatton got through with Kosta...or do you have some lame ass excuse for that one too?

It's plain and simple that he ducked all three of those guys. Plus Hatton at 140 :deal

Both are true warriors in my opinion, both excellent fighters.

Mayweather is a far far greater fighter p4p than Margarito ever will be, but that doesn't mean PBF would smoke him at ww these days.

Both have reasons why some would not think them worthy of the title "true warrior" - Margarito's resume is not amazing, and Floyd's decision to bow out having never faced a top ww.

But I still believe both men are worthy of our respect and admiration.

Mayweather is one of the most skilled fighters of recent times, and Margarito is an excellent ww with a great chin and a very exciting style and mentality in the ring.

Let's appreciate both!
