How did Floyd stay away from guys like that when he rematched a guy like that? AM doesn't like boxers. Why do you think he has not rematched Williams lol. If Floyd got done in by a fighter like AM...who has 5 losses, and a good chin...I'd send you a check for $20.000's. I'm good for it too lol...

I never saw Clottey quit fighting. I saw him take a round or maybe two off, but he never quit. He complained about his hand to his corner and that's it lol. Clottey won the 12 round also lol... AM won because the judges gave him those bogus scores to keep alive the possibility of a Cotto-AM fight at that time:dead. Keep it real...!!!

This reminds me of the thing that one guy stated in a Pac vs. DLH thread about running down his street naked with his **** in his hand (or some crazy **** like that)...wow...did that man eat SERIOUS ****in crow...

I would watch out about making such statements...He might actually send you a bill :yep

But I do think Floyd potshots his way to a MD if he doesnt hurt his hands in the process. Although I think it'll be the first time you'll see a very beat up Floyd. But Floyd NEVER liked pressure fighters. Anytime the pressure gets too hot, he coils up and looks to counter but doesnt do it often enough. I'm not he'll find the right strategy to slow down Margo. If Floyd ****s up his hands, I think he'll actually get KO'd. If he doesnt, then it's Floyd's speed that gets him the nod.

I saw Clottey stop fighting around the 9th round on, it was all Tony from there on out, and no they were not even talking about a Cotto fight back then that wasnt even close to the table until a few months after that fight in which Williams protested and wanted his mandotory to be enforced which is exactly what took place.

The judges didnt give Margarito a bogus decision you are simply robbing the man of a his rightfully earned win and he did win that fight.

When you hurt your hand, you have to find out when and how you can throw your punches without injuring the hand more, so naturally ANY fighter will stop fighting for a second, but he never quit. That is the lie AM fans try to pass over on boxing fans lol. As far as Cotto-AM, yes they were talking about that fight. AM didn't want to give away his WBO title so he fought Williams. AM-Clottey...the scores of the fight were beyond ridiculous for that fight, and you know it lol...

I never overrate Floyd. What you do with AM is about as close to ball squishing as you can come to rooting for a fighter :deadlol... In the Clottey fight, AM came away with swollen eyes, his body was hurting, his cheeks swollen, his ear drum cracked...he was beat up, and Clottey didn't have a mark on his face.

it dont matter what the mans face looked like what mattered was who won each round and I am telling you Clottey did not win the fight, a hater is the only person who would even argue that.

Margarito did what it took to win he kept fighting when Clottey decided to quit fighting that is what Costed Joshua the fight he simply stopped fighting.

Now like it or not that is the reality of it, the fight was there for Clottey to win but he elected to cover up the last third of the fight. He basicly helped Tony retain his title, sure Clottey was getting in his ass early on but its never how you start a fight, the only thing that matters is how you finish.

Margarito never landed anything clean on Clottey except bpody shots which never even hurt Clottey, and don't ever post how you thought Williams looked after he BEAT AM lol. You arguing with me shows that you knew AM lost...

Margarito is not my man...I'm a neutral observer of both. I think I've already shown my liking for Cotto many times. So to me...I think it's too close to call.

But I read something interesting about Floyd and pressure fighters. People think it's pressure that gets to Floyd because of Castillo, yet they forget that FLoyd fought injured (shoulder injury i believe) and had a rematch and schooled him to a boring 12 rd UD.

Because of this false idea that he falters under pressure. You have DLH abandoning the jab and losing the fight, you have Ricky Hatton running into FLoyd's fist, Baldomir missing 8 out of 10 shots, and Judah losing heart after the 5th round.

I SERIOUSLY believe the only way to beat Floyd is to OUT Floyd...meaning match his skills and try to out-do him at it. I still feel pressure is the way to do it, but it has to be the proper kind of pressure and the ability to outspeed Floyd in handspeed and footwork.

I think if Zab was a bit stronger at heart and more collected...he'd be the highest name in the WW rankings...but he's overly emotional in these fights and loses focus.

The only way to beat Floyd is to outbox him. SOunds impossible I know...but many people thought there's no way Floyd can work a better inside game than Ricky...and he did. So I think if there's a boxer out there that can match all these assests and use that pressure that I was talking about earlier...its Manny Pacquiao. :good

Dude? lol...Aw, I hurt your wittle feewings with the truth lol... Clottey lumped AM up, and lost by 10 points on one card which was about as ridiculous as any lunacy of a bad scorecard as I ever saw. You don't even believe AM won by 10 points lol.

Good post. Judah had very good success against Floyd. But he was also naturally bigger than Floyd, so it took some time for Floyd to get used to Judah's speed and power. Castillo tried to rough Floyd up, but it didn't work. Carlos Hernandez and Chavez also. That is a way to get into Floyd's head, but not the way to beat him. Floyd counters best against guys like that, and I see him countering AM all night. Pac has a chance, but he can't beat Floyd because imo his size and reach is not enough.
