I think this thread is supposed to say:

"Who besides Ali ever beat any all time greats at all?"

    I didn't get that................at all.

Besides, if that were the case, the answer is, every all time great.

You must beat ATG's to become one.

If I´m guessing the meaning of this thread correctly. I´ll point out a few (not counting the beatings of all time greats well past it):

Foreman beat Frazier twice and destroyed him.

    Lewis beat Holyfield

    Holyfield beat Tyson

Leonard beat Hearns, Hagler and Duran / Duran beat Leonard / Hagler beat Duran / Hagler beat Duran and Hearns

    Frazier beat Ali

De La Hoya beat Chavez and Whitaker

Roy Jones beat Bernard Hopkins and James Toney

    Barrera beat Morales

I could make a long list.

Blatant paradox. How did the first ATG come to be then?

By beating other ATG's, even if they were future all time greats.

    Nice try.

    Marciano beat great: Louis
Ali beat greats : Fraizer, Foreman, Liston
    Fraizer beat great: Ali
    Foreman beat great: Fraizer
    Holmes beat great: Ali
    Tyson beat great: Holmes
Holyfield beat greats: Tyson, Foreman, Holmes
    Lewis beat greats: Holyfield, Tyson

I was not taking age or "shotness" into account, just how many great fighters beat other great fighters. I probably missed some, but I wasn't around back in the pre-cable TV days
