And the thing is, these same idiots, most of them anyway (Floyd fans), loved to claim Cotto was damaged goods and past his best vs Pac and recently would trash his 154 credentials and call him overrated. Now suddenly a "one-legged Foreman", Mayorga and "one-eyed Margarito" have transformed him into the best he's ever been. Can't make up this ****

Pacquiao took more punishment, are you serious? So what was Floyd doing tonight, painting his toenails? Floyd got beat up tonight. Them body shots he took were brutal, hurt him bad and had him slowed down to a crawl. Only when Cotto tired out he finally stepped it up.

PAC of course. Can't believe a lot of people saying that this COTTO is a better version, he was slow, his punches were not as strong as it was when he was 140-147,

Yup Floyd taked many shots, but because of his color, Floyd's bruise is less visible. But you can't deny the blood on Floyd's nose, and the bruise on the eyebrows..

Pac dished out more punishment but received more than Floyd did in this fight. Just look at the end of the fight,Pacs face was bruised, damage to the ear and Pac even said it was one of his hardest fights in the interview..

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Tasco. Technically, Cotto was at his worst against Manny. He didn't have the right footwork to position himself to smother or counter Manny, had his elbows far too wide in his guard, gave up his height by bending his head past his lead leg on the outside, and while I don't think the 145 catchweight affected him too much, there is a reason they asked for it. This version of Cotto had someone to supervise his technical progression, and to prepare his body with a scientific emphasis, and the results spoke for themselves. Not to mention the fact that vanquishing Margarito likely restored his confidence in a big way. Stylistically he may never beat Pac (or Floyd), but this fight pointed to him being better prepared in every way.

Pac has now lost any possible chance, he ever had of, persuading Mayweather to step into the ring with him! Mayweather will continue with his usual excuses, to avoid fighting him, and relying on his slimeball fans to accuse Pac of dodging him!

When talking about the version that showed up on the respective fight nights, it is pretty obvious that the Cotto which Mayweather beat was much better trained, determined, and in better shape.

However, Pacquiao dropped him multiple times and dominated a lot of the rounds, whereas Floyd only really dominated a few of the rounds. For that reason, plus the stoppage at the end, my vote will go to Pacquiao.

A better representation of the scores for the sake of the history books would have been:

    117-111 (X 2)
    116-112

Haha, Pacquiao fans dismissing the concept that styles contribute to fights...
