Instead of a poll i would rather want to hear people's opinion on how they see both fights?

Both fight is close (one judged as a UD, and the other a SD) but both won by Miguel Cotto. But who gave Cotto a tougher fight?

Clottey did. The only time I saw Cotto having success against Clottey is when Clottey turtled up and stood still, but Cotto was straight up out-boxing Mosley at points. I honestly believed Clottey was in complete control of that fight, can't wrap my head around why he was so inactive though in the later rounds. Very odd fight.

I also think Clottey did better. He just showed that a big welterweight can be stronger than Cotto. Mosley did not seem stronger than Cotto in their fight.

I had the Mosley-Cotto fight even and I had Clottey winning by one point.

" Shane's win over Margarito was decent, but that obviously wasn't the same Margarito everybody else has fought. Not only was he missing his "secret weapon" but it was obvious the embarrassment resulting from the discovery of the plaster was wearing on him as well, he never looked for a single moment of the fight like he was really in it"

What friggin bull**** this is! :rofl The embarrassment was weighing him down??? Look Cotto hit Margo at will as well. The difference is Shane hit him harder and then tied him up, muscled him around and went to his body. Shane fought the perfect fight against Margo and was able to be successful with it because of his handspeed, punching power and strenght in the clinches. He fought the exact same Margo everyone else did, he just fought him differently and better!

Out of pure curiousity. Are you aware about Margo's plaster of paris incident that happened in the locker room before the fight?

Yeah and I'm also aware that Margarito never hit Shane with a clean shot anyway, if anything his hands should've been a little lighter and faster  Shane beat him to the punch and then tied him up and walked him backwards CONSTANTLY, somehting nobody else ever tried to do, which to me is absolutely ridiculous because it seems the only gameplan other than being Floyd or Pac.

Shane was more impressive against Cotto...

at the time of the fight, Cotto was still an undefeated fighter and to most he was an unbeatable fighter at 147.

Clottey was fighting a mentally scarred fighter and couldn't put his foot on the gas to get a decision victory...even after damaging his opponent with his head, he still couldn't get the win.

If this external factor isn't part of your points in judging the answer to the question. Will you have the same answer?

Clottey started better then Mosley. Mosley finished stronger then Clottey. Both were close fights. Mosley fought a fresher Cotto. So I would say Mosley was more impressive.

How could it not be factored in to your analysis? An undefeated fighter who has faced and overcome adversity is a very dangerous man.

The fight was a very impressive showing for both men. Can't say the same for Clottey/Cotto...both men looked vulnerable that night. Clottey looked mentally weak and Cotto looked physically weakened by his battle with Margarito.

Clottey is a very tough physical fighter who is a spoiler...if he ever puts it together mentally, he will be damn near unbeatable at 147.

Good points. Though I believe that Mosley was going to win anyway but! Margo was drained and not very well mentally because of the discovery.

Clotteys head did a better job than Clottey himself.
