Who did better against former WW champ Miguel Cotto: Mosley or Clottey?

You could ask the same question about the Clottey/Cotto fight? Would the fight have played out the same way if Cotto had not been injured by headbutt? He looked very weak and unconfident with that huge gash over his left eye.

How do you think it would have played out? Do you think that is the reason why Clottey was so effective in the mid to late rounds?

 

Yes...I noticed that too. Before the fight, more specifically during the ring entrance, Margarito had this look on his face as if he were a child who just got sent to the principal's office. Really sad.

 

Clottey outlanded Cotto in the final punchstats. Id have to rewatch the mosley fight as its been a long time. I thought Clottey won, I dont remember what I thought of the mosley fight. I remember it being close and a bit of a chess match and thats about it.

 

Yeah if we can believe Doug Fisher ( I believe him) the margo team used incorrect scales before the official weight in so they drained him to 145 believing that he was 147.

Although, he has been a very big supporter of Antonio Margarito...he is partial to fighters who train on the west coast.

I believe they hate him because of the wraps. In a way everyone deserves a second chance and he can still take part in some exiting matches.

I think that Angulo will K.O Julio and after a match with Margo will be very profitable and passe the torch to Angulo eventually. But I think that Arum has Margo-Cotto 2 down the road at his mind. Foreman was strangely good at his last match from what I remember.

I thought Cotto beat Clottey decisively but I wouldn't say that about Mosley/Cotto.

I think Mosley did better.

 

Clottey, i actually felt clottey won that fight, but the last 2 rounds were a disgrace, if he fought it would have been a convincing win imo
