Back on page 1 somebody brought up Moseley on the downside and said how the Margarito he beat was not in top form. My opinion is that Margo who relied on his hand wraps obviously did not train or train hard enough for the fight. The guy was relying on wraps not boxing well. He had the wraps taken off. He had no strategy, he was unconfident, and he had no hope in winning. After Cotto everybody put Margo on the hype train put him on the cover of Ring but I knew he was not going to last long. I would have been shocked if Moseley lost to an ill prepared relying on cheating Margo. Mayorga proves Shane is on a decline. Margo win gives an illusion of improvement its very easy to hit a guy who cannot fight back. Margo made no attempt to win and Moseley made the most of this big opportunity.

For thread purposes Clottey busted up Cotto I thought he won and he had Cotto in retreat running around the ring and trapped in corners alot. He also got up from that pro wrestling move Cotto used and fought like a champion.

I finished watching Clottey-Cotto with Cotto winning by 1 point but Clottey being the better fighter. I finished watching Cotto-Mosley with Cotto being the better boxer and he winner. I think Clottey did better against Cotto than Mosley but styles makes fights, Mosley is a better fighter than Clottey and would pick him against Clottey any day.

Mosley, he fought a Cotto who wasn't cut and didn't have a damaged psyche and he traded bombs with him for 12, in a fight I originally scored for Shane.

Both Clottey and Shane won their respective fights. Both had Cotto running for dear life. Pick one...

Most credible post. Freshly watched the fight.

I have the same score, Clottey winning by 1 point - though ill be happy for a draw for the decent late round runs of Cotto. Mosley-Cotto how ever many times i see it i always have it 115-112 (or 2 - 3 points ahead) for Cotto. I simply can't see Mosley fans' claims that it should be Shane or atleast a draw. Cotto skillfully outboxed Mosley and very clearly won (UD).

Too many other factors.... Mosley wasnt fighting a Cotto that couldnt see his right hand and constantly had to wipe blood out of his eye. Mosley wasnt the one fighting a Cotto who had just gotten beat up for the first time in his career.... and not just, oh man he lost, no.... BEAT UP and broken.

The Cotto that Mosley was up against was a completely different fighter for more then one reason then the one Clottey went up against.

What fight was closer? id say the Cotto-Clottey fight really....
