Referring to the fights with Fury this year. I’ll say Chisora as he came out and had a go. However I felt Fury treated the Chisora fight like an exhibition and took his foot of the gas and was never worried at all. I felt he gave Whyte more respect and was glad to get him out of here. I’ll have to go with Chisora on the basis that Whyte did absolutely nothing
Chisora... Whyte is open to body and head. Chisora protects his body well. Chisora also handles himself really well when hurt much. Knows the clinch game very well, Fury was looking to bump him and try to land free uppercuts but Chisora was pretty tuned in.
Fury was clearly carrying Chisora and holding back he didn't even get out of first gear .. with whyte he let him have it after he'd warmed up.. so you can't really compare, Fury clearly didn't want to hurt his friend here
100% Fury was clearly holding back,he could have stopped Chisora in the first four rounds had he so wished,Chisora’s legs went a couple of times in the first few rounds and Fury just backed off.Fury even said himself at the end that he needed to get rounds in .
Chisora did better in that he was more aggressive and durable but he had barely any more tangible success and Fury had more respect for Whyte's left hook than Chisora's overhand right.
Neither as both totally outclassed. Yes Chisora hung in there but firstly that is how he makes his living nowadays being a punch bag and taking too many punches that are not good for his health, and Fury looked like he could have ended it nigh on when he wanted.
This. Fury was simply giving an older fighter, who had more than paid his dues a payday, so he was merciful with Chisora and didn’t see a reason to go for the kill. Whyte on the other hand is the same age as Fury and should be in his prime, so Fury didn’t hold back and destroyed him.
Chisora lasted longer because he has more heart than Whyte and AJ and probably Wilder. But he doesn't have much talent and all 3 would beat Chisora.
