Roy actually landed on the guy, but I'm not sure he was ever in the fight.

While Hopkin's acting was disgraceful, I believe his intention was to catch his wind, so he could assualt Roy with a series of serious punches with the intention of knocking him out and getting his 60% cut.

The man is a business man.

If Hopkins didn't take what I believe to be breathers, he still would have won the fight with his activity, but it would have been even more boring than it already was.

But I would still say Roy was better. He has a style that makes Bernard at age 45 less comfortable than a guy who comes foward.

Jones did far better, Hopkins needed to foul and take long rest against Jones, while he handily beat Pavlik.

Jones for sure. Jones wasn't dominated, he just decided not to punch very much so hops beat him purely because he outworked him, which wasn't very hard considering Jones took zero chances and was happy to survive rather than fight. Pavlik got his ass handed to him

Roy didn't plod around the ring like Frankenstien, blocking shots with his face like Pavlik did.

Is this a joke? Roy had that old man faking again just so he could catch his breath, and Bernard had to resort to dirty headbutts.

I never got the chance to watch the whole Pavlik fight, i watched it up until the 5th round I downloaded off the internet then it turned out to be a virus. So I had to delete. I have never got the chance to watch the rest.

Kelly got beat that ****en badly? Wow.

It was a one-sided affair, no question about it. Pavlik looked ill-prepared for the move up in weight and I also got the impression he and his camp made the mistake of overlooking Hopkins based off the Calzaghe fight, focusing more on trying to KO Hopkins than winning in the first place. He never did find an answer to Hopkins' style, so Bernard kept doing what Bernard does and just kept exploiting the openings. If you've seen the first 5 rounds, you've pretty much seen how the rest of the fight turned out.

Easily Roy cause Hopkins have to is clinch, low blows, rabbit punching, acting 3 times in the Jones fight while Hopkins farely without any illegal tactics easily beat Pavlik.
