I remember Arum saying exactly that after the Mora fight - Shane looked old, past-it and had never been a draw anyway.

What has Shane done in the meantime to convince him otherwise?

I actually say Marquez. Only because he had no power against Floyd were his shots not doing anything but he landed more clean, hard shots on Floyd than Mosley. Outside of round 2, Mosley was dominated. Now one can say that Floyd purposesly wanted to go the distance with JMM and didn't go for the KO to dust off the rust but it is what it is. JMM did more than Mosley.

Mosley for the simple fact that he almost put PBF down early on.

Ive just noticed I have Andrea Dirrell as my AV.:lol::lol::lol:

How in the f*ck did that actress get to be my AV?:twisted::twisted::twisted:

Mosely did. But it's more because they were fighting at their optimum weights.

Nothing, you just arn't supposed to remember that when they choose to fight him. :good

Mosley did better against Floyd, but what does it matter when you're comparing one good round out of 12 to no good rounds out of 12?

I thought Marquez did better. Mosley did well for the first 2 rounds, but then was completely and totally outclassed to the point where it looked like if the fight was 15 rounds, he might have quit.

Marquez looked like he was having trouble getting to Floyd, but it's not like he couldn't handle what Floyd was throwing at him. Marquez still looked as fresh in the 12th round and he did in the first. People think Floyd could have opened up if he wanted to, but I think Floyd knew that if he opened up on Marquez, he would get tagged.

Against Mosley, those last 5 rounds floyd could - and did - do whatever he wanted.

I actually saw in that fight that if Marquez had the strength to get in closer on Floyd, he would have given him a very tough fight. Instead, Floyd was able to keep him at bay with a jab all night.
