Who did better against the trio of Paulie Malignaggi, Marcos Maidana and Carlos Molina. Khan or glass chinned Broner?
Haha, Super Hans at it again. Nobody has mentioned Broner since Saturday until Hans does... You can count on him for that... Thought Broner looked like **** against Molina for the first 4 rounds. After that, he still looked dull to me. Broner won't accomplish too much more. His best days are gone in my opinion; I don't see him recapturing that 130-135 form. He's suffering from being overrated and overhyped in the first place, not having diverse skills, getting too ****y and too flashy in the ring, and most importantly rising in weight and opposition caliber. Moving up one division is no joke, let alone Broner moving up how many now still at 24 years old? He's fought solid opposition no doubt, but it likely was not the right move for his long term career.
All I judge fighters by is what they do. Khan's complete wipeout mercy stoppage over Paulie >>>>>>> Broner's SD Paulie Khan's epic close UD war Maidana >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Broner's UD loss Maidana Khan's similarly not that impressive TKO/RTD Molina >>>> Broner's UD Molina Of course common opposition favors Khan immensely.
Obviously Khan, and he probably is the better overall fighter but still not great himself and he might lose to Broner h2h due to styles (and physical attributes) making fights. They are both enormously flawed and react badly when hurt, and can be hurt pretty easily. Broner is more athletically gifted overall. Khan is faster in combination and better on the outside. They are fairly close to even, although Khan is demonstrably better as seen here through a growing comparative record against common opposition.
