    Thompson

I had him winning 2 or 3 of the early rounds and for a minute thought he could pull off the upset of he kept fighting at the same pace. Haye was never in the fight...he won a round on my card

I remember this when it aired, Klitschko world domination spot on HBO. I'd love to find a copy of this vid somewhere!

Thompson did better I think, though to be sure I'd have to watch both fights again and that's not happening, ever.

I'm not just saying this from a British perspective (ive said it before) but I don't see where Wladimir struggled against Thompson at all, he was dominant up until an 11th round 1 punch KO. Pointless rematch.

    Thompson did better IMO.

Close call. I went with Thompson.

I'd rate these 2 fights as the most substantial challenges to Wlad since Peter I.

I thought Haye did better. I haven't watched the Thompson fight since it first aired but if I recall the first few rounds were somewhat competitive and then Wlad completely took over that. With the Haye fight almost all the rounds were competitive with Wlad often doing just a little more.

I picked Haye. I don't care what the punch stats say, Thompson can land 1000 punches and still wouldn't put a dent in Wladimir Klitschko. Not to mention he finished the fight sleeping on the canvas.
