Who did better - Forbes v Delahoya or Marquez v Mayweather

Forbes was pretty impressive against Hoya to me. He went after Hoya nd didn't hold anything back. I felt like Forbes really tried to win that fight and do anything he could to try and make it happen. He took some shots very well and was game til the end. Marquez whether it was him being too slow or just holding back his punches just didn't seem there.

 

Forbes had Oscars face looking like Maussa's

 

Fores cuz he didn't get knocked down.

 

Forbes did better against DLH. He looked better at the weight and his opponent was coming down in weight at an advanced age. Marquez had to go up to fight a bonafide welter at his absolute prime who happens to be better at everything than himself.

 

Forbes, he was somewhat competitive in his fight with De La Hoya, Marquez on the other hand got knocked down and didn't land a clean shot the entire fight, his punch stats were in the toilet.

Forbes, he did ok and got to Oscar a lot more than a lot of fighters. It really was no wonder that Pac was able to do what he did after seeing Oscar vs. Forbes.

 

Yes and No. Simple answer is: Style makes fights. While, Floyd is indeed better than Oscar (but not far, during their peaks), Marquez atleast to me is VERY FAR BETTER than Forbes at their peaks.
