You're by far the worst poster on this forum now that your friend moneyman (or whatever he called himself) is gone, and you never engage in a debate with me because you know I'll wipe the floor with you, and expose you as the pea brained idiot you are. Then again, you show it every time you post. You're a waste of space who adds absolutely nothing to the forum, except a couple laughs.

Every time, I get in a debate with you, I always prove you're either lying or full of **** (mostly both). I've yet to see you win one debate on this forum. You're a clown and nobody here takes you seriously.

Swag, I bet he's barely 20...the allowance made for callow youth...and anything much older than that means he needs to consider getting into another type of forum.

If true, it's genuinely sad and pathetic.

I'm actually 22 and I know @George Crowcroft is young aswell. And were both young guys, who debate respectfully and respect the older gentleman here.

I know you weren't specifically talking about every young guy on here, I'm just saying there is some younger guys here. Who love the history of boxing and love to learn about the sport.

And i hope me and @George Crowcroft do give the younger generation. A good representation that two different generations, can debate and talk about boxing respectfully.

Ron Lyle slugged with Shavers and Foreman to a KO loss and hard fought win, and boxed Quarry and Young to losses.

His best win is a decision over a past prime Bonavena. His best performance might be against a very disinterested Ali who still turned the match around exactly when he felt like it.

Lyle turned pro at 30 I think? He was a tough fearless man but very inexperienced with a short physical peak. He tended to let his opponents dictate the match and struggled to impose his advantages. I have absolutely no faith in him replicating Joe Louis' best wins are even some of his lesser ones.

Lyle could box well enough against very limited opposition and he might be able to outlast a very vulnerable slugger in a fun fight.

You are right on the money there Dynamicpuncher...you and George C and may I add William Walker are exceptional and not at all in that category of young morons like CleneloAlvarez and Poopydoopy, or whatever he calls himself,..and there's a few others whom I won Classic" bother to name. In fact, I'm quite impressed by the command you guys have of the sport's history and what makes up "classic" boxing. You guys are doing real good right now, and will get even better with the passage of time.

Gerry Cooney, Joe Louis would have stopped him. As much as I admired Jerry Quarry, Joe would have stopped Jerry on cuts as Ron Lyle lost to him too.

    You think Carnera beats Lyle?
    Brion was second rate.
    Savold was washed up,

Carnera definitely beats Lyle. Brion took rounds off a prime Ezzard Charles. Savold would've been a tough fight for Lyle.
